London to Tokyo just £265 Return!

Recently seen London to Tokyo for just £265 return:

Use a low cost airline to fly to Rome and then fly from Rome to Tokyo (via Moscow) and back to London.

I strongly recommend a night in Rome to avoid missing the connecting price. Fantastic price though!

Hi Mr Wang.

Yep very cheap. I found flights from Madrid to Tokyo and returning to London for £260 and I thought that was cheap. See http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.php?p=50437695&postcount=4.

I have been flying East for a while now and the cheapest I have ever found was £220 One way from Moscow to Beijing, that was about 3 years back.
I have never ever seen return prices like what you are coming up with to even cheaper locations in the Far East such as BKK or KUL - Never mind Tokyo!

I hope people recognise just how ridiculously cheap and probably once in a lifetime prices these are!

On HotUKdeals people are saying what a bad airline aeroflot are but surely you cant go wrong for this fantastic price!

Such a long way round. I'd rather pay the extra and avoid flying Aeroflot like I would influenza.

Have flown Aeroflot twice and not had a single problem.

They now fly Airbus iirc and all the safety issues were from bygone eras of dodgy Russian Planes. They haven't had an accident for 18 years which is good enough for me.
I wonder whether those that wouldn't fly Aeroflot would fly Air France who have had 6 fatal accidents since Aeroflot last did.

That said, those on a MSE site claiming they would pay at least £300 more rather than change planes - Can I just ask.....What are you doing on a MSE site???

Great price, however do take note that Japan is a very costly place, Tokyo accom and internal travel in particular.
