Even more impressed with our illustrious leader! Utterly admire the way that you've tackled your debts and are emerging from the other side.
Sanity is the playground of the unimaginative!

Hi Pigpen - have checked out your diary over the last couple of years & have also been inspired by your mad decluttering and ebaying!! (lol) Don't know how you do it with all the kids to deal with aswell - I have 3, and they keep me SO busy!!!!

Nice to see you back on DFW again - best of luck - I'm sure you'll manage it!!!! Will keep lurking.....

BB.. thank you.. Games consoles were invented for a good reason! lol I am hoping this is the last great count up I need to do. Hopefully when teh rather large insurance claim comes through I'll be able to shift at least a couple of the debts... I have donated one to my mother to pay.. she owes the money so she can have it to pay.. doesn't seem unreasonable to me TBH.. It is only £80 a month so it is the £20 a week she offered to pay me.

    Great aren't they!!! ;)

Oh yes.. electronic babysitters.. ensure I get peace and can get on with my college work and such like. Other than that they are all at school fulltime aside from Tiddles who does 3 full days and 2 half days.. so I do get plenty of time.

I am just going to sort through my ebay stash actually and see what need to be flung in the direction of the charity shop

Pigpen- re your daughter's nursery fees. I'm aware you're not in paid employment so won't be able to claim via tax credits but have you looked into childcare vouchers? Does your husbands employer offer them? This is what we used when I went to college in conjunction with the non-means tested funding for 3 year olds.
