I promised some days ago that I would report back when I heard from my contact request with the swapping facebook page linked to in the first post in this thread.
Well the mystery of why there seemed to be no swapping is over - its a private group so I got an invite to friend a moderator and now its all become visible and there is a very lively community of swappers all chatting away and showing their bits;)

There are many offering sales or swaps and its not all beauty box stuff but its definitely all going on and seems very friendly. It also seems well managed in that they are ejecting someone for swaplifting and being very supportive towards the victims of this.

I've not yet got my act into gear to offer my stuff but plan to any day now. Do you think its OK/allowed and would anyone like me to report back on how it goes?

Maybe see some of you over there.

Rose80, I hope all goes well for you today. The last few days are a funny time, wondering if its going to happen. I had mine by elective Caesarian so didn't have that worry, although felt like I was permanently about to give birth naturally the last few days. It was a relief when it was over, and I had the baby. Wishing you well. x

HanSpan, I'm not too clued up about forum rules, so hopefully someone will come along to let you know. I think it would be nice to hear how its going; I can think of some items I would like, such as those HD brows tweezers; I have loads of unopened items I could exchange for, but think it is actively swapping on here that isn't allowed. Unsure though. :o

    Hi guys.

I just received the Joliebox dispatch email. Yay, seems a long time coming.

I am definitely excited about this months box.

This isn't a spoiler as from old boxes.

Has anyone bought any stuff that was in their boxes yet?

    Two things so far:

Caudalie Serum that was featured in the April Glossybox.

Osmo Hair Oil that was featured in the May Glossybox.

Still not a glossybox fan though!

I haven't used my Caudalie product, as have put in my stash for winter, as my face is drier then. Its good to get recommendations.

I didn't receive the Osmo hair oil, but have been using Argan (featured in Amarya) instead for all sorts of things.

I almost wish I hadn't cancelled my GB subsription for the HD brows tweezers, but then again I might not have got them, so wouldn't have been worth the risk. There is a very well-known brand that I've been looking at instead Tweezerman, but they are so expensive!

RE: swapping items, you are allowed to link to external swapping sites/FB groups etc - as long as you have left the MSE site when you hand over your personal details, that's fine (as then MSE cannot be held responsible).

I couldn't do without my Tweezermans - took me a LONG time to invest in them as they seem very expensive but if I were to add up all the cheapie brands bought over the years it has definitely been a sound investment! And will save me money in the long term :j

Thanks very much Missli, here's hoping the LO fancies meeting us soon. Getting all sorts of twinges and pains and not a clue if they mean anything or not, time will tell!!

Got my JB dispatch too, just so everyone knows I think it is sent 2nd class so may take a little longer than others.

I hope you're having lots of pampering sessions then. Nothing like a little 'you' time for easing things. I couldn't manage without my Lush baths when I was pregnant (and didn't thanks to my kind, and generous sisters).

I hope all goes to schedule, as you must be desperate to dress him/her? up in cute little outfits. Baby clothes are gorgeous! :D
