I got back from a week away to Amarya, BirchBox, and my Beauty Bible package. All were good, but paled compared to the Beauty Bible package which was worth a good bit retail price. A much better selection (for me) than last time, so chuffed.

    Amarya, and Birchbox:
I liked the Lavera handcream, and face cream, also the treatment oil (fab!)but already had the Iinka brow pencil from souksouk, love it though (so a handy spare for when mine runs out), plus the eco-bag is useful.

I liked everything in this months Birchbox but was unlucky to get a very pale shade of pink lip pencil "wolfman" shade, I'm very brown at the moment so not sure if it suits. Will try again tomorrow, or keep for the winter.

I loved the extras in it, the vitamin capsules, and the cooling eye mask.

  • Have received my Beauty Bible product about 160RRP. About half the items are things I would never use so that will be interesting to test as I have nothing to compare against. I did get one item which I have bought in the past so am pleased with that, let the testing commence.

I have a product in mine that I have previously tried, I really like it so am delighted to get a full-size to test. I make mine a different value, and the rest is stuff I would use normally although different brands products, so must have a different batch to yours.

Are they mainstream products you could buy in a department store etc or more cult products as per Birchbox etc?

i'm not sure that we can post details of the products that we receive on open forums, theres something in the instructions asking not to name or discuss products openly until you have had a credited quote for it on their website...so I guess thats a no...

ive never used birch box so again I've no idea what a cult product is...however the Beauty Bible stuff I received was what I would class as a mixture of products...all seemingly full sized,at least 2 of mine were high street and easily available,a couple more were deparment store concession quality, and a couple of the others ones ive never tried before but googling them showed that they are readily available either instore or online...
I use these types of products normally, but have not used some of the specific companies products.

Its the first time ive done beauty bible and I would do it again if available.

If anyone's interested Living Social have an offer on Birchbox, 6 months with delivery for £38.
Bargin, would normally pay around £77 for 6 months.
I'm going to cancel my current subscription and buy this.

Have you got a desktop link? I cancelled my Birchbox subscription to reduce costs, but tempting at that price. I can't seem to click on the buy button!
