  • I was searching for new boxes to try and came across this

    http://www.betrousse.co.uk/

As I was browsing through the site, it only gave me a choice of 1 box, but when I got to the checkout it let me have a choice of a further 3 boxes but can't quite see what's in them so see whether they are any good.

I'm thinking of giving it a go as the cream in the fairy box is worth £34 and seems to have good reviews? Has anyone else tried them before?

I have bought two boxes from betrousse. None of them is sold any more. At some point they were on offer all of the boxes for 9. I was very happy with the items in, great value for money. They are my favourite beauty boxes! all full size products and you can see what you are buying.
You can see what each box has in by clicking on KITS.
  • Got my Glossybox today, and I've got to say, I'm really disappointed in it :(
    Here's what I got:

Eyelash Curlers from Emite Make Up,
Small sample of Purifying Day Cream from Urban Veda
A 15ml sample of TRESemme Keratin Smooth Concentrated Treatment Shot
2 in 1 shadow liner in Black, won't use this, tbh I wouldn't have used any of the colours.
Make Up Remover Pen from Oceane

This months Birchbox is meant to be really good this month, hopefully it will be!

I have tried 2 by them in the past (discontinued now), and were both excellent value for money. Go for it, looks excellent value for money.

I agree with Missli, well worth it, mine were all full size, easily worth the money (£35 if I remember rightly) I worked it out at over £200-250, and they were all useful to me too. A real treat.

Sadly I thought I might get an email invite if they were doing more testing!

I was 2 weeks away from finishing my last lot of Beauty Bible products (my 3rd or 4th lot) when I noticed they were looking again on online. I sent Jessie an email to see if I could re-apply and she said yes and sent me the relevant emails. As it would take a few weeks and wouldn't overlap.

I have received my 10 new products today and once again I'm more than pleased. About £280's worth in total.
  • Got my Birchbox.. Another one where I don't cartwheel with joy, but it doesn't suck enough for me to cancel.
Philip Kingsley Elasticiser - Hair treatment in a tube, nice sample size, should be enough to find out if I like it.
LAQA & Co L'il Lip in Wolfman. Since when have wolves been baby pink? I had a total 80s flashback trying this. It made my lips look REALLY weird.
Molton Brown Ylang Ylang shower gel - Can't resist this, but it's a pretty dinky bottle.
Beautify Me Vitamin complex (14 days supply). I'll be interested to see if these vitamins have any effect on my crap papery nails.
Gerda Spillman Hydro Pearls moisturiser/primer - dinky 10 ml sample
Bluemandarines face cream - this feels like you are getting 2 similar products with the Gerda sample. However, I really like face cream samples as taking a nice moisturizer away with me on holiday feels like a luxury
Lifestyle extra - cooling gel eye mask *shrugs*
  • I'm quite liking the sound of this months Birchbox, wether I'll still feel the same when it arrives remains to be seen!
