Amaryas box has been rebranded to LoveLula. The September box is really nice, and will use everything (have already used 4 items).

I got exactly the same as this one,

  • Ugh, my beauty box habit has made a comeback - Birchbox, Glossybox and now the new Selfridges box... (I love Perricone MD, couldn't resist.)

I had got through a lot of the stockpile of two years worth of beauty boxes though!

I got the nipple balm Glossybox variant. It's good stuff I have to say, almost too moisturising. I used to use it on my dry elbow skin and it wouldn't budge.

I've never had a beauty box so the Selfridges one is my first.
Never tried Perricone as I'm worried I'll like it too much but my bank balance won't! :o

My subscription just carried over from when it was Amarya. You can get a 3-month sub for £37.50 currently. I'm not sure why the monthly LoveLula boxes aren't available yet on their site.

I received my You magazine beauty box today, and am really happy. The contents are worth the £40-£45 mark (with the included extras), so great value for £6.95.

  • I got my Selfridges box and this months Birchbox today :)

I don't need to put the Selfridges box in spoilers as we knew what it would contain. No surprises, everything is lovely. I think the Top Shop lipstick would have been better in a spring/summer box, light orange isn't a shade I'd reach for in September but it's very pigmented so I'll put it by for next year. The mascara is a magnificent beast! I'll have to carry it around in my handbag, it's too stylish to sit in a drawer in my dressing table.

    Birchbox - spoilers in white

I got a Reverence de Bastien nail polish. I don't know the brand. If you own the Candy Apple lip butter it's that colour, a light bright red. The consistency looks a bit drippy.

A mini Bioderma Sensibio H2O. I already have this. I use it after taking my eye make up off, as an all over first cleanse. It would be a fab item for anyone who hasn't tried it yet. I'll keep it for travelling.

ModelCo lipstick in Kitty, and oddly for a beauty box it's a very wearable colour. To use the Lip Butters again, it reminds me of Pink Truffle, a your lips but better colour. Very nice.

Molton Brown ylang ylang body lotion. Smal 30ml size. I love Molton Brown shower gel but I've never tried a body lotion from them so I'll try this out later - though I feel one body lotion is pretty similar to another.

Aromatherapy Associates revive body gel. I assumed this was a shower gel, but it seems that it's another body lotion. 40ml. This smells very strongly of essential oils, especially rose, even without taking the cap off! I know AA is supposed to be a luxury brand, Lisa Eldridge raves about them. I'll give it a go on a blah morning to see if it perks me up!

Then I got a Green & Blacks mini chocolate bar which is very welcome!

I think it's a very nice box, the kind of box I signed up to Glossybox for. Nothing wowed me, not yet anyway, but it's all quality stuff and I'm happy. The only thing I don't like about Birchbox are the drawstring bags, what do you do with them?

I don't know what the drawstring bags are like, but any nice package I store and recycle for birthdays/christmas presents.
  • Am actually quite impressed with Birchbox this month. :)The nail polish seems a nice colour but abit watery, and never worth the RRP, well to me anyhow! The lipstick is actually a really nice wearable colour! Doesn't look to be that long lasting though, but still, a nice colour choice all the same.the rest of the box is good too, I think I'll actually use every single item this time. The chocolate I usually give to my husband, but this time it's white chocolate, and I love white chocolate....I might half it....then again maybe not! :rotfl:My thoughts on this months box are above in white.

The drawstring bags are very useful for anything I use them when travelling to put anything from costume jewelery, camera (when I lose the case), hair stuff e.g. clips, bands. I gave my friend some and her daughter uses them dolls little bits e.g. outfits to keep them together.
