I have cancelled Luxbox through paypal just before they took this months payment.
I have tried to contact luxbox through email and facebook. They did not respond apart frrom to delete my facebook posts so I opened a dispute in paypal over a week ago this closes on Monday. I did finally get an email from Luxbox to tell me my box had been dispatched on Thursday but the tracking still says its awaiting collection.
I really don't think there is a box, no one has received it. I have now been banned from posting on their facebook page. They have fed their customers nothing but lies. I would advise anyone to open a dispute in paypal, I not sure if they exist.

Just checked my PayPal, and each month the payment has come out on the 5th, and due to the lateness of the box each month, I always thought that that payment was for the previous months box, ie if it came out on the 5th April, it was for Marchs box, but yeah, you're probably right, and the payment that came out on the 5th May, is for the May one, which like you say, we'll probably get in June....or not at all, as it's not looking that good....

If I cancel my recurring payment, will I still be able to raise a claim against them if needs be?

I'd read on Twitter that they'd been deleting people's posts on Facebook, that's not good :mad:

I receive Glossybox and Birchbox. I sometimes have received some really good products from Birchbox that I have purchased again but there are a lot of the products I have received that I never used. With Glossybox, sometimes I am disappointed by the content of the box but I always end up using and liking everything even if the value of the box isn't great. I would recommend Glossybox. Also, you get a free box every couple of months thanks to the surveys which is nice.

I received my first ever Glossybox and Birchbox last month. I liked them both but would probably say that Glossybox was a bit better. I'd never heard of any of these beauty boxes until you lot on here started talking about them and now I'm hooked! Also had the latest in beauty boxes ......well I've bought six different ones to date. OMG I think I might have a problem.

Amarya's always a good box, this months was fantastic. I like Luxbox too despite the late delivery (normal for it to take 7-10 days from dispatch so not unduly worried :eek:) as is always good quality, and very high value. Birchbox is another good contender.

The birthday Glossybox is really random isn't it? A party theme and my main item is a full size tube of La Roche Posay sunblock! Then a mini body lotion, a sample of primer, a horrible metallic gold nail varnish that will probably be donated straight to the bin, and a Jelly Pong Pong mascara.

I've been subbed to Glossybox since their second box but didn't get the speecial treat for long-term subscribers. I am used to feeling like they couldn't care less about me though, it seems to be their trademark:D

I'm not sure if I got the extra treat or not?! There was something extra in the box I think, but it was that cheap looking that I'm not sure if that was the added extra or not?

Would post what I got, but don't know how to blank it out so I don't spoil it for others?
