Scottish Power suggested the Help Beat Cancer tariff; any one made a decision yet?0

I have been doing some comparisons and EDF's new Blue+ Price Promise comes up as cheapest but only by £15/20. I did notice there was a Scottish Power fixed deal only slightly below EDF and cheaper than OES 18, but I've never had a fixed deal so I'm not sure what to do.0

I'm also in the same position. I am tempted to switch and get a Quidco cashback from another retailer. Any recommendations anyone? Also anyone any suggestions about when is best to arrange a switch without paying a cancellation fee (which they wont be able to charge after 30th April). I don't want to pay 12% extra for the standard tariff for too long.0

A switch takes 4-5 weeks, so you can start the process today and be quite safe from any ETC on your existing tariff. No free lunch, and no free laptop0

Whilst a switch takes 4-6 weeks, that's all the admin time and transfer of data between supplier, agents and distributors. The registration date will be shorter than this so won't that be an issue with early termination fees rather than when a switch finishes which or some people can be over 6 months if they have standing data issues?:rotfl: It's better to live 1 year as a tiger than a lifetime as a worm...but then, whoever heard of a wormskin rug!!!:rotfl:0

They are doing a 'reverse auction' in April.
Suppliers will be invited to submit their lowest price for electricity and gas and will be bidding against each other, so hopefully a good deal can be screwed out of them for a change lol.
Ive joined that too, but does anyone know for sure when their offer price will be through? I dont actually feel confident it will be lower than other offers around , but if I plum for SP 18 and then find The Big Switch is a gem, Ill be sorry, so not sure whether to hang on or not.0
