Evening all, feeling slightly better now but off to bed soon. Managed to get some stuff listed on ebay and already have 2 watchers on one of the items:) Here's hoping for a sale soon.

Did make one sale for 99p so that is winging it's way to the OP pot. Really surprised me when it sold as thought no-one would ever buy it, but 99p is better than nothing:)

Morning all, it is a beautiful autumn day here in the midlands, hoping it lasts as want to take little one out today. Planning on takin gher out this morning then getting some flyladying in this afternoon.

Good things today: no work!, spending a lovely day with my baby and friends, ebaying going well, one of my items is up to £5.50 and i only did a 99p start, thought i might get £2-3 never any more:)

Bad things: £10 payment onto hubbies mango travel card has duplicated, so now £20 has gone out of the account instead of £10, not happy! But hey ho, not going to let it spoil my day:)

Ok, you know it's bad when you're cleaning and find cigarette papers behind your microwave...i haven't smoked for over 2 years...yuck!

Good job i am now a flylady! Hoping to get a few more jobs crossed off today, then tomorrow going for the burn of the cleaning world and while little one is off bimbling with nanny and grandad i am going to get the hoover out and tackle the clothes monster in my room! It's decided, i just have too many clothes, some have to go, and soon. Thinking of going through and anything i've not worn in the last 2 years is going. I say two years as for a good year i have been either preggers or carrying baby weight so lots of stuff has gone unworn which actually probably fits me now. Also i don't know about anyone else but i find i just wear the same stuff all the time and forget about little gems hidden away in the botttom drawer, so i want to sort through and only keep what i genuinely like and wear and fits me!

Another £2.94 for the OP pot from topcashback:) As soon as it hits the bank i will update my sig.

Isn't it amazing that so far this month i've made an extra £55 or so that if i'd not been checking on it would have disappeared into the ether, and yet byt popping it to one side suddenly it's 'real' money:)

Ok, i'll be back in 30 mins with an update...

Time flies when you're having fun:)

Hoovering upstairs done, that's 3 bedrooms, landing and stairs.

Also put the recycling in to the right bins, anyone else find that now we have the facility to recycle at home you have an eternal pile in your kitchen, no matter how often i put it out, i go back half an hour later and there's more there. Anyone got a solution, other than running outside every time apizza menu comes through the door?

Right going to have a drink and 10 mins on here then back to it.

Right, off to hoover living room and dining room then empty all bins and put out anything else for recycling...see you in 30...

So hoovering doen, took longer than i thought, but i'm pleased that i've done it properly and actually pulled the furniture and toys out rather than just hoovering round them:)

Ok, got a pile of papers to sort out, mostly rubbish but want to double check i'm not recycling anything important. I've emptied the compost bin, as they are coming to empty the brown bin this morning. So i've still got the kitchen and bathroom bins to sort.

Think i'm going to do this next and then have a go at cleaning the front windows. Have to get the step ladder out for this though as they are the tall ones you get in terraced houses. Maybe this is a job for after lunch?
  • What I've never understood about the Fly Lady Thread is that they have you do cleaning in the most bizarre order...

Take your example above for Tuesday - if you manage to complete Level One then later find out you have time to tackle Level Two... well then you're going to dust a lampshade onto your clean floor. It's just bonkers! Same with Monday - cleaning the fridge and wiping the hob is going to flick all manner of bits over your freshly moped floor!

    Ok cleaning logistics over...

I think the idea is that you decide at the start which jobs you want to do, there are no hard and fast rules as such, you can set your own list if you prefer, it purely for motivation really. Without it i usually sit on my bum when i get the chance, but with it i'm a cleaning machine! Still sit and catch up on here but don't get sidetracked too much.
