  • Well done,

If you ever have any left over, serve them for pudding with a little knob of butter and a spoonful of golden syrup, yummy...

PS i use the same mix as for my pancakes.

  • If you have a gas oven put it at the top, gas ovens heat from the bottom unlike electric oven that can heat from many directions.
In a gas oven the hottest spot is always the top, I have always made mine in the lid of one of my pyrex casserole dishes, I love a very large pudding, and am more fond of the soft spongy bit at the bottom that the crispy bit at the top.
    I had a plan..........its here somewhere.
  • hi batter is made i've just put muffin tray with oil into very hot oven to heat the oil. how long does it take to heat the oil? how much do if fill each individual muffin hole - to the brim or 3/4's? what temp to cook & how long never cooked them from scratch before
