Hi Elantan- two weeks and than I am going abroad for a fortnight. Today when I was in work all the gossip there made me more confident in my decision.

yep once the decision has been made ... whilst there is the immediate panic around the what if? whats going to happen... once that subsides it becomes a thank goodness i am outa here soon ...

wish i could afford to leave my work just now ... my Bp went through the roof on friday with some of the stuff happening ...

enjoy your holiday when it comes

well done on 19 things for ebay that is a good start ... you dont want too much anyway to begin with ... especially whilst working ... remember you have to go to the post office to post everything when they are sold :)

Hi Elantan- I use postal depot- they are open 6 am till 7pm and the packages get to people at least 3 days quicker (I buy my postage online, all the necessary stickers I get for free from post office - you just have to ask). Ebay is good old friend that helped me greatly in the times of need in the past- I do not know what I would do without it at times.
Elantan, I can understand - my blood pressure is elevated when I think about my workplace. Are you looking for new position? Because I know it is really hard when you are working to apply for new thing that I partially why I quit : I do not want to became stuck.

Hi Elantan, What medical ? are you ok?
I can also understand why you are not rushing - it is easy to go from frying pan to the fire.. I went back to my GP as the first course of antibiotics did not help and I got another course of penicillin now. not fun. Also GP told me that I need to lose weight if I want to stay on the pill and after I explained that I pretty much done all the diets going she told me to go to SW, as she thinks that due to my hormone problems I need quite specific diet. I went to the meetings - £20 later...
I just really hope that time it will work as I am really worried about my health and i am fed up of being overweight (just been told by the doctor i just got in to the morbidly obese category- BAD TIMES. I also noticed that I only wear black. (my other half told me that I look lovely in colors when I was wearing very dark green T-shirt that I wore only as it did not show - outside I had black top over it). So I need to gain money and loose weight.

    Hello after my holiday.
I am afraid to look at statements- I know that I overspend quite a bit.

    Time for update I think.
Soooooooooo... I quit my job, went on holiday, overspent a lot, and a week after hols I was already working in office (temp position), on less money but now I do not have to spend any money on petrol so it is more less the same. Also I am trying to get rid of stuff on ebay, so could be worst. I am looking for good job and wondering why did I bother to do a degree - it does not pay off , well, not for me anyway- and I now compete with current graduates who are a lot younger then me....
Anyways, I have to stop spending money- recently every expense seem to to be one off, so I really need to curb our spending. I also noticed that when it comes to groceries we overspend a lot, especially when we are hungry. Also, I am thinking about reducing amount of my possession in the house ( read:clutter) as sometimes I feel overwhelmed with it -and then I feel guilty for being rubbish housekeeper. Family ( dare I say it!) seems to be sort of ok - still helping but not on the scale that I did before. Still figuring out what I actually want to do.
