i did feel a bit better after the first replies, i watched corrie wihout staring at ma phone like a demented woman, i then felt all wobbly again, but now im somewhere in between! just hoping they call back! im too scared to ring them now incase they say they did reallocate. i think id rather not know, than find that out! reading the terms and conditions was a dumb dumb dumb thing to do! thats when i started to go really insane over it! :eek:

ignoring ma own spidey sense is whats annyoing me most.

once again, thankyou all so so much, i do feel better now, altho doubt i'll sleep. i forsee much checking of phone in the night! crikey, this is like having a rubbish bloke all over again! fingers crossed they ring back/email! i'll let you all know if they do!:)

I won Real Deal in October and ITV were really really nice when they phoned and when I said thank goodness I was in the lady assured me they would have tried again. :T

I am sure that I read somewhere (can't remember where) that they did try several times at different times of the day and including weekends as they realise not everybody will be in a position to take phone calls. My call came at 5.05pm on a Monday (wow now how did I remember that ).

I won with ITV a few years ago (£2k M&S kitchen stuff), they were calling my home number late in the afternoon but too early for me to be back from work. Hubby took the calls, but they wouldn't call me on a different number. After about 4/5 days, I managed to get the number from the phone (hubby kept forgetting!!) and gave them a call. They were fine about it, so don't fret too much. Good luck, I hope it's a good win for you. Mx

well, after a really sleepless night, (lucky if i got 2 hrs!)and lying awake from 5.30, i tried to call em.( i figured id ask em not to tell me what it was if they did reallocate). well, ive tried a few times since 8.30, and they dont answer, it just rings. this means either that line doesnt take incoming calls, or they see its me and avoid me!:eek:

i wonder if maybe diff comps are run differently? the t&c on alot of em defo say they reallocate if they cant make contact right away (some within a two hour period) i did read another thread where a lady had missed the first itv call, but got the second, and they were at the same times i got my calls. it wasnt the massive prize, so im trying to convince maself it was a dvd or somat, and not an on air call! after a day and night of worry, im too exhausted to stress that much today. pesky itv not using witheld numbers! how many others go thru this?!

thanks again for all ure lovely advice. i now know if its not been reallocated they will call again, but im gonna try and accept it has gone, and that way hopefully i'll stop thinking about it! its sunny today, i'll try an think about that instead!

Did you apply to go on red or black as they were calling for auditions yesterd
Might not even be ITV number (unless you have found an exact match for phone number) so try not to get too worried if its ringing out and no answer suggests to me could be marketing call

StokieBecks, thanks fer ure reply! no i didnt apply, but good thought!:) id found the numbers either side that were defo itv numbers. also, the lady on the thread id mentioned had tried to call em back, and it just rang and rang for her too! that was 3 numbers away, so prob same dept. oh well, time to let it go i spose!

When i have had a look at the winners on the ITV page there used to be a few from weeks ago that was not showing and it reads - ITV are still trying to connect the winner.
