Oh I do enjoy this thread. (Yes - Ive mostly caught up at last) We do go through it on here don't we?! The thing is, none of us can predict how anyone will react on any given day, and in print it's even harder to get the jokes, etc. We all have our little ups and downs; that's normal, but I do hope we all carry on.
I have had such a good laugh at the ex-hubby stories (funny; I don;t think any of those deeds were posted by the men amongst us?) and I love the "tropical storm" posts: What a great euphemism. (Btw I think the itchy legs is like the 'crawling ants' - quite a normal thing apparently - I used to get it around my top lip (!!) and it felt like pins and needles was just about to start!) I began my journey through the Tropical Storm fairly early (40) and it took me ages to work out a lot of it.
Anyway, the Tropical Storm made me realise how many here are a similar age to me - people I had thought younger/male etc!! :rotfl: Isn't it funny how we imagine people when we only know them through words? It's like a book - you imagine the characters and settings, then go to see the film and it's nothing like you imagined, because the characters etc aren't as you had seen them.0 -

Hiya guys just having a little quick catch up but going out soon - thought this deserved another airing - IT IS BEAUTIFUL and so inspiring :A
Alan got up about 9.30am to watch the cricket from Sri Lanka and, because I was ker-nackered, he told me to have a good lie inHe did his own breakfast which consisted of croissant with butter and jam, choc hobnobs, a piece of banana cake and then a muller rice  :rotfl: I got up at 11am
and Alan then went back to bed for a nap
Just going to wake him now ae are going down to the car boot yard to empty the van and bring some things back from the unit that are for home/ebay. No district Nurse today as they are now doing his dressing every other day. Also Eric our postie has just brough the cheque my brother sent so got to put that into bank. He also broght me my pressie from Mr T - 10 lovely hand-picked mocall for good amounts and things I need, well done Mr T
I meant to mention a few days ago, someone, could have been Queen of Cheap??, said her mocs were not for items she normally used? Do you womble a lot of receipts as they may match that shopping instead of yours:rotfl: :rotfl:
Will finish catching up later tonight - have a good day guys - I will
Getting up and watching the cricket, one of my perfect mornings
It was me with the mismatched coupons...i've only ever wombled one useful one and that didnt have whiskas on it. I do buy cat food but she doesnt like whiskas so i wont buy it for her. Have still sent misery guts to T's this morning with some of the vouchers and a post it note telling him exactly what to buy, how much it should be before vouchers and after. I really do need to be *that* specific
On another note, I had an email from RSH to say that my telegrapgh voucher had been applied to my account :j
