They are chocolate eggs with buttons, mini eggs or mini cream eggs in them. Medium sized, but no box.

    Thank you. :)

    Hi all

Well done to the carbooters who have had a successful day today :T…my one and only attempt at a car boot was rubbish. We barely made enough to cover the coffee (we shared!) and a bite to eat on the way home. But we did have a real laugh and my brother assured us that it was normally a really busy car boot and he didn’t know why no one was there….it was a few weeks before Christmas - perhaps I should have known better!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I went to my little local T’s today and spied the Cif bathroom spray BOGOF with an OOD SEL of 27.03 :), I bought 2 bottles and when the discount didn’t come off I went to CS. The SA came back and apologised but just said to me twice that the offer had finished and someone should have removed the label. She offered for me to return them but not DTD. I left it and kept the CIF as it’s a really small store that I go in practically every day and the SA recognised me and my LO’s and I was too much of a wimp :o:o to mention DTD. Can you let me knowwhat I should do please (except toughen up ;)) as its my 1st attempt at a known DTD!! Do you think it is worth me ringing HO – would they send me a gift card? If not or if I shouldn't rais my profile for a small amount then I will just return them as I can’t afford them at £3 each!! TIA :)

Wow Happy that’s impressive – pleased all your wallet scanning paid off!! Thanks to the kind person who left 1 little bear in the box at Bu*n4ge store - I rescued him…...and promptly ate him.... nom nom nom :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Erm I'm not sure if I've got the hang of this money saving.....I seem to be spending more money buying 'bargains' that I don't really need - oops!! :)

    LPG conversions

    Hi all

Has anyone had an LPG conversion in their car?

How much did it cost you and how many years until your savings recoup the initial cost of conversion?

    Does it affect your insurance?

A friend recently recommended it to us. We have a toyota corolla. Does it use up the area where the spare tyre goes?

OH doesn't like the idea but I am all for greener living and saving money at the same time seems to be a no brainer.

Thought I'd ask you savvy lot to give me a foundation to work on!!!!

Sell the car and buy a car with a factory LPG system on it.

i got a detention for eating a wooden ruler. they even wrote that on the form they send home :mad: mum was not impressed :eek:

my excuse/reason was that i found history boring and eating the ruler was more intresting than listening to the teacher. i was far too honest as a child. :rotfl:

   there's a joke in there somewhere about wooden stools :rotfl:

ha ha I got the trays as well (8 holes) - planning on covering with paper. 6 Treasure eggs and putting a Thortons egg in one of the 2 remaining central holes and a Hotel Choclat happy egg in the other.

My older 2 grandchildren will get 1 tray each - can't wait to see their eyes pop out :) Grand total of £3.50 for each tray of 8 eggs!

Shall bid you all goodnight as have stuff to do for the week ahead.
