Just discovered a great cleaning tip!
I have just cleaned on top of my kitchen cupboards. The grease cutting liquid (Flash) wasn't shifting it so I liberally sprinkled cheapo salt over the top and, voila, it easily scoured the greasy residue off!!! Yay, me:T:A Every moment is a gift. That's why we call it the present.!:A

on a good note, i found at last a electric blanket £4.40, reduced from £20.:j:j:j i put it on my sons bed and gave it 30 mins to warm up then sent him upstairs to try it out. " oh wow mum, thats so cosy" that didnt sound quite right coming out of a hormonal teenager though, i did have to remind him to say thank you though
danielle how are the wedding preps going? you only have a few weeks left now. and how is your dad (in-law) coping?[/QUOTE]
Ah thanks for asking MMW. They are coming along slowly. Just shocked at how quickly it is coming around. Trying to sort the table plans today with a hangover is not a good idea. :rotfl:
FIL is looking really well, on the same high calorie diet as Mr3dogs and has put on a stone and a half in about 4 weeks. He is not having the chemo as it doesn't increase his chances very much. Just taking each day as it comes.

Good luck Mistic you will eventually find something.
I felt like a naughty schoolgirlwhen i found 3 boxes of Thorntons christmas spirits in T's i had been up and down the aisle looking and on my way back there they where staring at me. This was the other month. I hid them in my basket while i went to the SS till :rotfl:and have never left T's so quick.
Since then no 1p things
Might eat last box tonight
I think these are possibly the best 1p bargain ever value-wise...they are so nice!I was lucky enough to get 6 after a heads up from Gemini-Jes the other week:T although she had more and when she left the store about 3 days earlier there were about 100 boxes left...I got there and there were 6!
