    Afternoon lovelies :)

Sat for hours today planning a T's JTD and A's APG shops to make the most of coupons and cond spends....anyone else find it stressful?! :p:o:o I always seem to leave it til Sunday when the cond spends expire and am left panicking and wondering what an earth to get! :o

Anyway I eventually planned both shops but I didn't have a chance to do A's (cond spend valid for another 3 weeks yet so no biggie)

In T's I got a £41.38 shop down to £26.01 with a couple of multibuys, £5 off £40, 2 off £20 and a few coupons. Should give me a JTD of £13.82 so not bad :)

Things to note for JTD: -

Kenco Millicano refill pouch 85g: T's £3.59/A's £2 plus I know that some of us had the sample with a 75p coupon :T
    Ribena 2l (inc light) x 2: T's £9.78/A's £6
    Princes paste x 3: T's £1.69/A's £1
Ariel stain remover white 500g: T's £4.55/A's £2 (lots of coupons kicking around)
Mullerlights x 10: £5.22/£4 + use £1 price flop and I also had a 90p coupon in my CC mailing.
    Cadbury/Mars/Nestle Easter eggs: T's £2.50/A's £1
    Fairy platinum 20pk £7.49/£5 or 30pk £10.19/£7
    Alpen 560g (NAS) or 750g (original): £2.59/£2
    Kelloggs fruit+fibre 500g: £1.34/£1
    Pantene travel size smooth+sleek shampoo+conditioner x 3: T's £3.36/A's £3 (using SSM coupons)
Pizza fingers: £1.58/£1 (using 50p coupon)

    And from tomorrow:
    Hellmanns salad cream 430ml: £1.50/£1
    Robinsons squash x 1: £1.39/£1 (2 for £2 in T's)

Most of the above I bought excluding Pantene as my print limit is reached! Pizza fingers as my local don't sell them :( and Fairy Platinum as that was just to bulk up my shopping if needed ;):p I've inputted my receipt already so all being well, will post my results tomorrow :D

Going the other way, my list for A's:

    Bakers Small dog 3kg: £7.38/£6
Dettol aloe vera handwash system: £9.99/£4.99
Nescafe gold blend decaf 100g: £3/£1.50
Nescafe gold blend refill 100g: £3/NOT SOLD
Natural selection dried fruit or ginger: 95p/NOT SOLD
    Branston pickle 520g x 2: £3.70/£2
    Extra chewing gum 5pk x 2: £3.46/£2.50
    Milkybar/Rolo/Yorkie dessert 4pk: £1.78/89p
McCain wedges lightly spiced 1.5kg: £2.99/£1.49
    Lucozade 1litre: £1.99/99p

I know that many of you will be able to do a lot better than me but hopefully this might help someone, goodness only knows it took me long enough! :o

    Inputted about 17 wombles a couple of nights back: 37p, 72p 37p, 1.18, 23p, 28p and 39p :D

Finished T's in enough time to scoot to A's for 3:55pm and all whoopsies going down to 10p so 300g pack lean diced lamb, chesse+onion s/w filler, 2 x chicken+bacon pasta salads, small punnet of grapes and pack of celery for 60p :T Wombled a receipt that resulted in £1.09 APG. So all in all, pretty happy with that.

Off to walk the babies in the last of today's sunshine and will be back later to catch up. Hope the carbooters came home with empty cars and overflowing wallets ;):D

Hope everyone's had a lovely Sunday :Axx

ETA: Possible DTD from price flop.....Bassetts jelly babies 190g bag. Priced in leaflet at £1.48 bogof, priced online at £2.02 bogof. Only just noticed now so didn't check instore :)

    Thank you Fudge Cake :T

I wanted to say how great I and I am sure many more found that. I have started doing these things recently and I have found myself doing the same thing, especially this week.

Last night I crafted what I felt was perfection in shopping :rotfl: then when I checked before I went today A had changed prices on something and the entire list exploded.

Don't rush out after these. I got quite a few and think they are absolutely rubbish. Barely any smell to them if left open on a window sill let alone hidden away in a cardboard tube.

To be honest I am not bothered how good the things are for 1p. I have been so excited to get anything for that price I would be :D:D:D

I did not find any though. Next time. It feels so close. :rotfl:

tessietwo, thanks for this i'm also looking to buy a new tv, ours konked out during the week and hubby is currently watching a teeny portable 12" :rotfl:
i'm usually always on the laptop so wouldn't bother me but suppose got to keep him sweet, he's my taxi to t's and is really good at swooping and scooping (wombling) so deserves a nice reward for all his efforts :)

I know what you mean about laptop v telly. Hope you find what you are looking for.

I would spend a little more and go for the LG, better specs and very good reviews

Don't forget , if you need hdmi cables the ones from poundland are just as good as the £100 ones from currys etc.

    :)

Thanks for taking the time to let me know about the LG tv Decay, really appreciate it. Plenty of good reviews for the LG one :) Also great tip re cables.

Tricia hope you sort out your channels soon.

I never buy my food from Tesco. Instead, I choose to support smaller businesses. Like Tesco Express.
