I have been using delaying tactics, if you had not noticed by the amount of my posts this afternoon. ;) DD2 just text and is only just over hour away from home. Place still very untidy and I know she will add to that so going to have to run around like a headless chicken and try and clean up in an hour.

If anyone sees my green light on, please feel free to shout at me. ;) See you all later.

Anyone guessed Ford Sierra? Not a car person but do remember someone having one of these in my family in the 80s, I think. Is that classed as a classic era? ;)

I guessed sierra as I had one until 2010! it was 13 years old when i got it to learn to drive in (er why did i do that - cos it was £100 off my dad's pal!) When i scrapped it i got £125 for it haha!
To infinity and beyond - but mostly to Tesco!:D
  • I have phoned thorntons because it was bugging me, my order was saying dispatched though not supposed to be delivered until wednesday so I wanted to know what was happening.
They've said if it I've had dispatched email then it has been sent from their warehouse but on a slower service that next day delivery so it will come on wednesday, I said about the the price being different to what I authorised and she said they are not allowed to charge more than what's been authorised.
She mentioned to me that their had been a glitch yesterday and a few early orders have got through and those that have been dispatched are being honoured.
Will just have to wait until wednesday to see if they arrive, fingers crossed.

Bought a crucifix in town today to go on a chain that belonged to my mum. Got a real bargain too so should would have been pleased - her favourite websites were here (the grabbit thread) and hotukdeals. I was worried after looking HSamuels that I wouldn't be able to afford a decent cross, the one in there was £299, got a 'refurbished' (I assume that's new speak for second hand, lol) for £60 and it's exactly what I was looking for, I would have paid much more for it and it's chunkier and nicer than the one in Samuels.

I gotmy orange aero from fb in the post today, that was a nice surprise too, well it would have been had my oh not troughed it!

Feel completely out of the loop, dd2 finally arrived 2 weeks late on march 5th and am finding it hard to keep up with all the gossip and bargains. Can't remember the last time I gotta glitch!
