3Dogs there are no words to accurately convey just how utterly amazing you and Alan are. You are an inspiration, an amazing lady, wife, friend and human being. What you and Alan have been going through and with the sad news you've received today it's a wonder that you are still standing, still motivated, still joking and determined to enjoy the time you have together and if there's any justice that will be a long long time :AI'm crying writing this....we may only be names on screens to eachother but your story has touched me in the way it would if we were friends in 'real' life. I think you're FAN FLIPPING FANTASTIC :T:T:T
Sending hugs to Frequent, I am often completely bamboozled by your posts but the humour you and Mad bring to this thread are irreplaceable
Thank you very much for the rec for Aqueous cream and possibly not using Simple soap :AI shall enquire next time I see my GP!:o
PHILPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!:D:D:D:D:D
Right that's me all caught up, atleast from lunchtime. No T's for me today, ran down to A's for whoopsies and bought another 12 pints of milk for 30p, 2 packs of cake bars for 20p and 2 packs of Mentos=FREE :T8 pints of milk went to my neighbour thoughAs JJ was saying earlier, so much of our weekly spend used to be on milk, I just can't resist it for 10p!:T
Night night all :Axxxxx
Arh, I am blushing now Fudge-cakeI am particularly touched because of your own problems hun - thinking of you and hoping things get better for you :A
As for the aqueous cream v Simple soap, I have skin allergies and load my hands mainly with Dermol but I also only use this for face/hand washing and it really helps. Have you had that yet? You probably have, given your history, but thought I'd mention it just the same. Actually, my allergy came back when Alan came home from hospital and I realised it was the stuff at the hospital for cleaning your hands as you go in and out, plus the wipes and anti-banterial hand wash in a no-touch system, so even after using this, I now then rewash my hands in the Dermol and the problem has gone again

Sorry to hear this Brand8 but can I make one comment to everyone on here? Quite a few have said that their problems are nothing in comparison to what we are dealing with, but this is wrong. Whatever you problems are, they are the most important thing to you at the time so don't let our problems put you off discussing your's on here, and getting the advice and support you need
Now, back to more catching up for me :eek:Mr 3Dogs 3-7-12

Afternoon one and all, not so good here today
it's cloudy and rather chilly so decided not to wear sandels to go to town, put me boots on instead.
I still have no friend that wants my knife tokensso looks like they will be binned, unless ..........
Frequent lots of (((hugs))) for you today as I missed out yesterday
Ooooops just noticed I'd hit italics lol
I've got a question to ask of those who know about such things. When I got my new lappy (Asus) I haven't got Microsoft Word or Office or anything like that, but I want something so I can write letters, and spreadsheets etc. Any ideas if there is free stuff that is safe to use? Or am I living in a dream world.:o
On my old lappy I had works and loved the fact that I had a calendar thingy that popped up when I turn on, how I miss that (and already missed 2 birthdays - I'm in the doghouse with 2 friends now)There's no place like home
Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.
Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.0 -

Mine wasn't the first one I won either. I guess that they are sending them out in order of their monetary value, starting with the lowest.0 -
freddiesmum09 wrote: »So fed up today
OH went out with work last night, it was all paid for by work etc so I wasnt too fussed, he told me he'd be back 11pm, half 11 at the latest. I only told him not too drink too much infront of collegues as both he and I know how he gets when hes had a drink, and I said that his job is too important to just put on the line for the sake of a few beers.
Anyway, I rung at 11 to check he was ok as hadn't heard from him since 7pm,also wanted to check he didnt need a lift home as he was cycling, as if he did would need a bit of notice to get DS up and out of bed to go pick him up. Anyway he didnt answer his phone and I fell asleep, he rung at 2am (on the house phone - do they just forget they have offspring when they go out?!), to tell me he was staying at his friends house as there was a big fight in town, I asked why he was even in town as the meal was at a really nice restraunt just outside of town, and he said that him and his friend had gone clubbing after the meal. I am so so angry, he didn't even have the decency to ring me to check if I minded, I am really regretting not even bolting the front door so he couldnt get in. I said why can't you get home and he kept giving me the same carp about a fight in town and police everywhere and down the roads he cycles down. Quite blaitently lying to me...I said do what you want I really don't care. He turned up home sometime after 3am vomiting into the toilet directly outside ds's door. I was so cross but just tried to remind myself to be the better person.
So yeah, no idea where he has been/who hes been with, and why he'd want to stay over his mates house, when its about a 10 minute cycle from our house. etc. He has a habit of cheating on me when ever he is out, or abandoning me when we are out together so really am feeling pretty mad at him right now.
I also promised DS daddy would build his scooter today... looks like thats not going to happen. I spent an hour trying to do it yesterday but got all the bolts and screws muddled up.
Going to go feed the ducks with DS now, nothing else to do to be honest, so fed up and angry for DS. Spent the whole night whilst he was out cleaning and mopping all the floors so it would be a nice chilled out weekend... wish I hadn't bothered now.
Sorry to moan. Anyway, on a positive note my £12 money card arrived this morning.:T
Hope everyone is ok, sorry to moan, I know my problems arent signifigant to what some of the people are going through on here
Going to have a quick catch up and then take ds out. Have a good day everyone. x
So sorry to hear this Freddiesmum - take care of yourself and teach that     a lesson. It is more than a bunch of flowers he owes you petal  :mad:I am so sorry the news isnt better for but bothbut I think your whole attitude to everything is inspiring and your obvious devotion to each other sends a shiver up my spine. Hugs to you both xx
OOh, your post sent a shiver up my spine3Dogs, what you are building are memories, very good ones I hope, and this is what you will need most in the years ahead.
I lost my husband three years ago this Easter in exactly the same situation. We had two years to create memories the kids will carry with them of their Dad forever I hope. We live in Cornwall (lucky us) and managed day trips out. While we were still able we went off to Lake Garda for a week of sun and silliness, and the children still say that is the best holiday we ever had. Ironic really, as we knew it was probably our last foreign trip.
Enjoy every moment the best you can.
What a lovely way of putting it Curlytop ...... building memories :A
Forgot to say, I haven't seen your post but did see it being quoted Lookinforabargain and I am so so happy that your Dad is OK :j :j

Or are they just sending us the minimum and hoping we will accept that. I have sent them several emails and phone call as 4 of my rewards have been removed, each time they reply with a standard response. I am now taking the matter further.......... will wait for my other prizes first that are showing redeemed0
