Thanks will get OH to look at card left and do that if its possible xxx

Bensonsmum very often it has to be the person named on the parcel who collects it and they do ask for ID, they can refuse otherwise.I have come across many jobsworths in Royal Mail it does seem to attract them!:D

You can call the number on the card and ask for redelivery to the same or a different address though, I think you can even specify a day for delivery.Much less faff!

with ours you can collect on behalf of someone else as long as you have some of their id and your own, but they rarely ask for any at all

And thats if they havent lost your parcel/letter in the first place

With us, you just have to show the card that they put through the door.

Morning! Not read back yet but has anyone had anything from Thorntons??

Got my confirmation text and email yesterday at 2pm nothing since. Probably got zilch chance of getting my order but still feel compelled to stay in the house "just in case".;)

Bleurgh. Just had 2 whopping slices of home made fresh cream Swiss roll that I brought back from the big ball do yesterday (love bringing home doggy bags!). They are sooo lovely do I had a second slice with my brew. Feel so stodged up now. Serves me right for stuffing my face:(

I've always been asked for ID :( so it seems Royal Mail are trained in consistency and reliability by the same peopls who train Mr T staff!
