That is ridiculous of him - maybe you should mention that it all takes time. When my step-grandmother died it all took more than 6 months before we even started to see money, and that was with us begging for it as we had severe problemsm and that included money left in trust by my grandfather.

It is very insensitive, but maybe he doesn't realise that the money can't just be handed out!

tell him it takes months , not days to sort out your mums assets and will. and a solicitor should be handleing all the legal/finacial stuff as well.

I had the pleasure on wednesday to have my sons father ride his supid bike past me as i was walking to tesco just for him to stare at my son for a femto second before riding off. no words exchanged nothing.
So i told my friend today i saw him and she sasy to me "yeah louise saw him yesterday he said there is no way he is Leo's dad because Leo is blonde... AND FAT... and non of his other children are FAT.
i cant believe it, i genuinly cant believe he is calling a 16month old boy fat... even more so that he is calling his own son fat.
and he knows he is the father 100% but i dont care about that im just so upset he would call my beautiful boy fat. I know im probably being really over the top about it but im finding it so hard trying not to cry over it. sorry i had to write this hear my friend found it funny and my boyfriend just said "oh well you dont expect anything else from him do you" my mum went mad when i told her too
his own beautiful son how can somebody say something so cruel.
Everybody in Ea$tbourne knows him and knows hes single handedly repopulating the town anyway so why he lies i dont know

Awful for you, but at least your beautiful baby is too young to know what is going on.

My OH is in the building trade and said that they are all like it now....
It's due to new EU regulations stipulating the amount of oil based ingredients which can be used.
All glosses and satins have been going downhill for years as a result and soon we will only be able to buy water based paints. and he said if you think Dulux is bad, Crown is 10 times worse with some of their trade paints yellowing in a couple of weeks.

That's a horrible thing to say about anyones child, let alone his own flesh and blood. He clearly is lacking a few brain cells. A shame that your friend found it funny, it clearly isn't funny at all. Vent all you like on here, that's what we're all here for x

Unfortunatley for me, I decorated our whole flat using this pure brilliant white non drip gloss paint this time last year... So ended up painting the front and back of 11 doors as well as all skirting boards etc :eek:

We did we all sat down and discussed the will etc shortly after she died. It's not even worth getting a solicitor involved by the time they were paid there would be nothing left. My mum saved very little and was a pensioner, the most she had was a cupboard (huge walk in one) full of bargains bless her:D and after me and my other brother had spent all week clearing the flat him and his wife came and cherry picked what they wanted. And i let them as I don't to fall out with anyone. I am not interested in gaining financially from my mum's death but obviously he's different.
