    Just a quick update, my Dad is fine!! I've never felt such a sense of relief in my life. On the original ultrasound that he had it was his liver that was showing up as apparently its an odd shape with some tissue that made it look like it was something on his pancreas. But apparently an odd shaped liver is nothing to worry about! So he's absolutley fine :D

    Just want to thank you all so much for the kind wishes the last couple of days. It's easy to see why this thread is a lifeline for so many people. Never really fully understood that until this week. I don't have many friends here, outside of my work, so really did feel like I was going out of my mind the last couple of days, but being able to come on here and get some support or just enjoy the banter has been brilliant, so thank you all :iloveyou:

    Just enjoying a beer at the moment (San Miguel, free ;) ) while OH makes a chicken curry (whoopsied chicken of course) and going to relax for the rest of the evening :D:D Will be back later to catch up
    :beer::beer::beer:

    Still catching up but :T:T:T:T, So glad its good news for you, Enjoy your beer:beer::beer:, its well deserved after the few days youve had xx
    :heart2:Life is not measured by the breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.:heart2:

    Purdita I think you said M's is near you if you've got grandchildren older than the beautiful Freya they have got lots of really nice pencil cases reduced between 28p and 48p. In my 2 locals they were still on the stationary aisles. Also some lovely massive craft sets reduced to £3.50.

    Really good news!! You deserve more than one beer with all the worry this must've caused. I'll drink to that too! :beer:

  • *hic* free beer going down rather well :D In fact so well, it seems to have run dry :eek:
    There's half a bottle of wine in the fridge, so once that's gone I'm done ;) OH's just [STRIKE]been sent[/STRIKE] kindly offered to go get crisps and dips. He went with a spring in his step, his wombling efforts from yesterday returned 50p! He's so chuffed with himself, bless him :cool:

    You can't make someone love you. All you can do is
    stalk them & hope they panic & give in
