Hello everyone, been out all evening picking up an ebay buy from miles away, shattered now :/

But on the upside, I got to visit a couple of Extras that I've never been to!

So, own up - who lives near New Malden and never bought the two Lumie Clears for £20 each!

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Okay guys, I've emptied the wine bottle and done what I needed to do on here so I'm off to bed. Have to up at 7.30 and these days too many late nights don't suit me :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

    See you all tomorrow x

Thank you, but you are too kind by half!

Its about time you grabbed your camera and slung a few pics up. Be nice to see some others pics.

Dunno Re. the shoulder. Just hurts and clunks and bangs something daft. Very odd though as doing exercise or resting it neither irritates it nor eases it. Very weird.
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: not being too kind! Your photo's are awesome. Everyone agrees, bow, take the compliment, then kindly leave...!! :D:D:D

When you're gone, I might dust off my old machine!!

I can't get out during the week, (rheumatoid arthritis) but I'll take camera out this weekend when hubby's not working I promise!!

Regards shoulder, sounds a tad like rheumatism if you've no known injury. Cortico steroid injection, be brave and have as much as they'll give you!!!! 80mg a time for me, worth it every time!! If it's offered, it's def worth considering. Don't think I could move without them!! x

You pressed the F12 button on your keyboard and opened the Internet Explorer Developer Tools.

Press F12 again and it will go away. hth

Okay, off to bed. Interesting day, folks. Not sure I should visit here on workdays; I'd never get any work done.

Just a word of warning on these greenhouses - I've bought 2 on separate occasions and they both got ripped to shreds when we got a high wind, so have been left with just a frame that rotted in no time :( I should have learnt after the first one! lol

I'm going to get some old windows and wood off Freegle this time round and make my own coldframes instead. Cheaper and last longer!

I've had the same problem with these greenhouses and have to say that I treat them as disposable. The plastics used only last a season or two in UV light. New covers can be bought but you need to factor this in to overall cost.

Don't want to be scaremongering here but just be careful about using old painted window frames for anything in contact with soil in the garden that is used for growing veg. As a chemist I perhaps think too deeply about these things but very old frames/doors i.e pre 1960/70s are likely to be painted with high lead content paint. This will peel off and then break down in the soil to release lead compounds that are readily taken up by the brassica family(things like cabbages etc).

Members of the brassica family have even been proposed as crops to clean up contaminated soil due to their ability to pick up arsenic and lead compounds easily.

So, before growing your own make sure you know the history of the soil that is in your garden.

I got my mum into a local centre for 2 half days a week, somewhere for her to chat to other people of her own age and they had activities for them too.
Not easy being a full time carer but by using local clubs if they are available in your area will give you some time for yourself and give your mum something to look forward to.

Very well said :A Something I shall be passing along to my Mum as she's finding it very hard to cope at the moment :(
The only DTD opportunity I saw today was Old El Paso :eek::eek: 2 for £2. It wasn't free so I didn't pick it up:p

And just looked online now and it's 3 for 2 again:D:D
