With all the pages going doolally I just wondered if Happychappy has had his post removed. I've tried to find some of his but can't see them

Quite possibly redfox trying to save his bacon!

I think he's been a bit naughty today. I appreciate he's frustrated, and I do think its bad manners to ignore his emails, but what can he do, he is fighting with bows and arrows and they have the artillery.

Life is about picking ones battles wisely.

Other thing was original TCO sels £1.75 out of date in Easter aisle but white sel £2.50 in normal aisle would make them 25p with DTD
No use to new I still have 100s from the famous glitch[/QUOTE]

Hi Celebrate - 25p ? got excited then but surely an overcharge of 75p x2 would be £1.50 off the original £2.50 spend ?

    Making the TCO £1 each

If you look at Celebrates last post she corrected her figures SEL £1.50 but scanning £2.75. Which would be overcharge £1.25 so DTD £2.50 taken off of £2.75 = 25p. ;)

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.
  • Hi everyone, long time no post...

Bought some TPOs with a few things. Went through self scan and to my horror, the Orajel scanned at £3.00 instead of the rtc price of 75p. Not wanting dtd, I was going to call the SA to correct the price, but quickly decided against it just in case she voided my transaction, so finished paying and went to CS.

The SA at CS was more interested in my TPOs telling me that I was not allowed to buy them and wanted to know where I got them from. She asked for one and went off looking for the few (battered ones) that I had left behind on the shelf near the sandwiches.

“Are there any more?” she asked.
“I don’t know, that’s where I got them from” ;) I replied. “Can I have my TPO back please, the one you’re holding? I’ve already paid for it. “
    “Oh! Oh yes.”
    “Thank you.”

She then took my Orajel and went off looking for the (yellow) sel.

“I can refund you the difference, but not any extra for the overcharge as you’ve bought the wrong product” the SA said.
I asked to see the sel. “It says Orajel dental gel 5.3g, exactly what I bought.”
“But this sel is for the packaging which is partly red and white, and you’ve bought the red packaging one” she replied.
I asked to see the sel again. “It doesn’t say anything about red and white packaging only, or red packaging excluded. Also, you have the price on the shelf right in front of 2 boxes of these,” I said.
She insisted she was right so I asked her to call up HO to confirm as I was now determined to get my dtd (only the second time in this store in the 10+ years I’ve shopped here).

The SA gave up and gave me my dtd :).

    The b/c is 0019.

    Night jumble jack.

I'm popping off to now so night all.

And Happy you better get back on here by tomorrow otherwise Nikki will be very upset when she finds out you have gone AWOL, it won't do her recovery any good at all. Luckily I expect she has been too drowsy today to know anything about it. And remember didn't she promise you another parcel if you were good. ;)
