Hi tried this tonight and got trouted, they wouldnt let me put the knives through on SS - big signs up advising that they had to go through manned. Tried to put two knives through with a couple of other bits to take it over £40, gave the SA the MOC, she asked if I had the knife vouchers so just said yes. Told me that the knife coupons had to be processed first and that she couldn't take the MOC
    :(
Thanks , a few people have said the same.

I didn't manage to go tonight but glad I waited, my nephew has been on a coupon printing rampage and he's coming with me tomorrow, so along with my coupons and my £5 off £40 spends I should get 1 or 2 cheap ;)

    Hahaha! Brilliant!!

I was really embarassed from a purchase last week but couldn't help myself as it was such a bargain.......... cringe..... There was a massive box full of brand new fancy dress strap on boobs and they were so fed up they weren't selling, they told me they'd give me the lot for £3.

Got them home - 58 pairs of them!!!! All priced with £1 price stickers, but have seen them go for £3.50 on ebay  So you may be able to find me on ebay now - mine are a lot cheaper :rotfl:

My husband says he's going to dissown me soon as our living room is starting to look like Del Boy's flat with my random boot sale purchases for ebay and my MSE hoard lol

"Do you have tie on breasts?"

Reminds me of a stag do I went to many years ago in Blackpool, there was a joke shop, we went in and my mate goes up to the counter and asks the girl behind it "Do you have tie on breasts?"he was making a serious enquiry but couldn't understand why we and the rest of the shop were crying with laughter!!:D:rotfl:

Last week, I gave the lady my price check vouchers at the till, she scanned them (I couldn't pay much attention as I had a little one needing the loo!). As I gave her my debit card, she gave me my vouchers back and I said "don't you need them as you've just scanned them?", she said "no, they didn't scan"... by this point a few grumbly people in the queue staring at me while I went to stop her putting my card in the reader. She looked at me like I was a piece of dirt and I just said "I wish you'd told me that sooner as I'd have told you to keep the items, but you've made these people wait long enough"... I was soooo bloomin angry!! If there hadn't have been such a massive queue, I'd have kicked up a fuss, plus my daughter was going to pee her pants LOL

You just described a scene from one of my shops last week. Although when I got DD to the loos she started a protest and stamped her foot. She went on to say that she just said she needed a pee because she was bored of waiting for the till lady to ask for the money :o Seems it wasn't just the other customers that were getting fed up. DD is 3.5 yrs.

talking about being called the coupon lady, my darling son wrote me a lovely poem in his mothers day card, they were told to do a poem all about mam.

    My sons poem goes :-
    mam
    Dishwasher
    Hard worker
    Love giver
    Crazy cooker
    Book reader
    Help giver
    Coupon Queen
    My lovely mam

Aww thats so sweet i thought i hope the teacher didnt see lol until today he announces Mam we made a new display in school of our work and i put my poem about you the coupon queen on it!!:eek::eek::eek:
    :o

Ive got parents evening next monday lol i wonder if the teacher will say anything! lol

Well my DD offered her teacher tins of soup, took one in every day for a week..back when we got the campbells for free. Got asked about it at parents evening, my DD pipes up..it's ok my mum gets them all for free with coupons.
Apparently her teacher is an absolute soup lover. These days my DD now makes homemade soup and takes some in for 2 teachers (she better do well on her SATs lol)
Costs me loads in ingredients..but I don't really mind, as long as my DD is happy and her soup is delish. Not bad for an 11yr old. I'll have to get her permission to post her recipe for you all.

I think the poem is great!!

    Evening all
Not been around much today so probably have a bit of catching up to do.
If there's anything I've missed would some kind soul please drop me a PM.
My DD's baby is due on Thursday so I'm not venturing far in case I'm needed to drop everything and collect grandchildren from school etc. and bring them home with me. It was her DH's day off today so I've nipped to T's tonight.
Nothing at all doing whoopsie wise, and because I bumped into someone I used to work with...I was late getting to Sainsbobs and missed them all!

Right off to catch up for a bit
My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.
