Sorry celebrate, I don't mean to offend you or your profession, as I read that link it's not sayin that all docs and nurses are like this, I know that a lot try their best, but there are some out there that simply do not and really should be not in the job.

I understand about all the cuts and short staff etc etc but that is no excuse for overdosing my grandad, giving him wrong medication twice knowing that it put him in kidney failure twice even though it was in his notes. I could go on forever with the errors made.
And that's not to mention some of the horrendous nurses who hadn't got a clue and had no respect, who would ever tell a person to soil their bed and they would be cleaned up later as there wasn't another nurse to help, that's not acceptable in any shape or form.

I'm not havin a go celebrate, I really hope you see that, and obviously you don't know all the ins and outs, but we weren't the only family at that hospital to have that treatment or to lose a loved one who went in for a minor issue a due to mess ups left in a coffin.
An inquest has also been called for by the coroner.
Anyway, sorry but I had to reply, not to have a go but to say my point as you have yours and I honestly hope I've caused no offence.

Sorry if this is all messed up too as I'm on my phone!

ah i'm so sorry, i hope i didn't offend you either, you get bad un's in every profession but not every profession has a person's life in their hands. I am not perfect far from it, when i make a mistake i am the first to own up and apologise and salvage anything i can from my relationship with that patient and their family, it bugs me when people mess up then try to cover it up:mad:

i know it's different in hospitals, you are more anonymous there, most good Gp's have known their patients and their families for years and will bend over backwards to do all they can to help (not all though, you get bad Gp's too:()

For Gp's with the new white paper we are having each and every referral counted and scrutinised, we can't over refer or inappropriately refer, but the pressure to refer from patients on the other side is massive as well:mad:

no i don't know anything about your grandad's case, i must have ,missed the story but from your post it looks unforgivable, I hope you are going to take things further and pursue a complaint

night, take care and no hard feelings xx

Thanks Mrsbartolozzi, I will try again tomorrow or in a few days to post a pic, I wasn't thinking there would be a time aspect, but seems logical now
    :)

I did suggest earlier how you could show us your pic of the tiling. Just post the link to the photo hosting site, but break it up so it doesn't show as a web address and someone here will post the photo.
It's always great to see other's hard work finished:T. Gives me a kick up the @ss to get on with my DIY jobs too ;).

Last week, I gave the lady my price check vouchers at the till, she scanned them (I couldn't pay much attention as I had a little one needing the loo!). As I gave her my debit card, she gave me my vouchers back and I said "don't you need them as you've just scanned them?", she said "no, they didn't scan"... by this point a few grumbly people in the queue staring at me while I went to stop her putting my card in the reader. She looked at me like I was a piece of dirt and I just said "I wish you'd told me that sooner as I'd have told you to keep the items, but you've made these people wait long enough"... I was soooo bloomin angry!! If there hadn't have been such a massive queue, I'd have kicked up a fuss, plus my daughter was going to pee her pants LOL

Almost cried when I found 'Half Price' £42.50 Denby set and it scanned at £21.25!! :rotfl::rotfl:

Been to Nottingham today, went with a friend to pick a few things up of his.

Nipped into T's of course :rotfl: Didn't pick anything up, but if you're local and interested in Suncream & Ibud earphones, throw me a PM & I'll let you know which stores they're at and where to find them.

Sorry to quote this but has anyone got the knives using a conditional spend moc ?
Going to get some tonight or tomorrow and i'm gonna be choosing the sa carefully as I think there is a good chance of getting trouted.

Hi tried this tonight and got trouted, they wouldnt let me put the knives through on SS - big signs up advising that they had to go through manned. Tried to put two knives through with a couple of other bits to take it over £40, gave the SA the MOC, she asked if I had the knife vouchers so just said yes. Told me that the knife coupons had to be processed first and that she couldn't take the MOC
    :(

Wow, I haven't heard a Batfink quote for donkeys years. I remember watching the cartoon at about 5:15 each afternoon before Crossroads started. From memory (dodgy as it is now), I am talking about 1978/79. Am I the only sad one here or are there loads of others who remember Batfink?

    It gets worse..

I remember Benny on Crossroads and Miss Diane too, even Sandy in his wheelchair!!

I am I the only sad git posting tonight or are there any others who know what I'm banging on about and can keep me company?

    Yes :D

batfik was my fav along with happy days & mork and mindy

If they don't scan go to CS and they'll put them through for you, I've done that a few times when I have'nt wanted to hold up the queue;);)And then they just give a refund for them.Saying that though if I'm a bit grumpy(Ladies will understand;)) I'll insist they put them through manually or get the supervisor:eek:

That's great Nikkilala, that you've found an SA who likes coupons. I've been called the coupon lady and it wasn't said very nicely :(. I used to explain how to get free stuff, to read here and where to find coupons, but the looks I got... I just keep it to myself mostly.

talking about being called the coupon lady, my darling son wrote me a lovely poem in his mothers day card, they were told to do a poem all about mam.

    My sons poem goes :-
    mam
    Dishwasher
    Hard worker
    Love giver
    Crazy cooker
    Book reader
    Help giver
    Coupon Queen
    My lovely mam

Aww thats so sweet i thought i hope the teacher didnt see lol until today he announces Mam we made a new display in school of our work and i put my poem about you the coupon queen on it!!:eek::eek::eek:
    :o

Ive got parents evening next monday lol i wonder if the teacher will say anything! lol
