Hi hun, I'm so sorry about your grandad, i can't imagine the pain you're going through:(:A

I don't want to start a debate on the NHs as this is not the place for it. Please remember that most doctors and nurses are doing their best for their patients and are not infallible in an already stretched to the limits NHS-the funding problem is not THEIR fault. Sometimes when my patients come to me with their list of 12 complicated problems they want me to sort out from scartch in a 10 minute appointment it infuriates me but what can you do? People quite rightly have high expectations of the doctors and nurses but how come no-one blames the bl**dy politicians??? Do you know how much the governement spent on a new nationwide computer system that was supposed to unify patient records -billions!!! and it's been a complete flop, most GP's haven't accepted it or changed, the devious canniving governement paid us initially to work extended hours (evenings and weekends) but then took the funding away but still expected us to continue working them.
I remember when I used to be a junior doctor i literally used to RUN from ward to ward ( i even had a pushbike :Aas i was an anesthestist and could be on one side of the hospital doing an epidural and get a crashcall at the other side of a 2 mile corridor for a cardiac arrest:mad::mad:), i never had time to cry then (ok maybe i did) as I was bleeped from a trillion different wards at once.....i could go on and on. I have scare stories of my own.......I'm just upset as to what this article is suggesting, we don't kill patients on purpose, or dehydrate them or give them diuretics to induce dehydration. Is this is suggesting criminal behaviour if I read it right that is?:eek::eek:
Sorry just upsets me when I work every hour God sends trying to help people:(:(:(:(:( to read stuff like this

sorry rant over......off to hide, HC move over!

I have to use that lovely wonderful new system. It is hell on earth

And i also agree wholeheartedly with everything else you say. And I say the same to patients when they phone me to complain about it too. I'm on their side. Just a shame they dont often realise that :(

The usual "I'm not having a go at you but......."

We have a knackered system to work with that takes us 10 times longer to do anything on, most of the time it is not reliable anyway and just as we get used to one way of doing things, the "management" go and change it, and conveniently forget to tell us how to work around it :mad:

  • Hahaha! Brilliant!!

I was really embarassed from a purchase last week but couldn't help myself as it was such a bargain.......... cringe..... There was a massive box full of brand new fancy dress strap on boobs and they were so fed up they weren't selling, they told me they'd give me the lot for £3.

Got them home - 58 pairs of them!!!! All priced with £1 price stickers, but have seen them go for £3.50 on ebay  So you may be able to find me on ebay now - mine are a lot cheaper :rotfl:

My husband says he's going to dissown me soon as our living room is starting to look like Del Boy's flat with my random boot sale purchases for ebay and my MSE hoard lol
Talking of strange random car boot items, I went to mine on Sunday (first of the season) and some bloke was selling Norman Wisdom yellow bumbags. !!!!!!? And he had a WHOLE BOX of them.

  • Haaaang on, yoghurt fans. They don't yet have the new Price Flop leaflets in my Ts, but they do have the Real Food Freebie mag, 1st page has 5 coupons on BUT buried in the back pages is a Yeo First Yeos (6x55g) / Yeo Smoothies (4x90g) coupon for 50p. These are marketed as kids yogs so great for lunchboxes but who cares, a yog is a yog :)

    Both currently £1.78 or 2 for £3.00
    Buy 4 = £6
    -£1 Price Flop coupon
    -£2 (4x50p Yeo coupons)
= net price of £3 for 4 multipacks

Have I got my maths right, would it be better to buy 2 packs plus a cheap yog to take it to £4 (>44p):

    2 for £3.00 + 44p = £3.44
    -£1 Price Flop coupon
    -£1 (2x50p Yeo coupons)
    = £1.44 for 2 multipacks plus 1 cheap yog?

    Hmm.

Went to cook my MB Xmas cake at the weekend, then realised I don't have a cake tin for this sort of cake. Any recommendations? Can I use two sandwich tins? What will that do to the cooking time?

Lastly for Tessietwo (I think), Clive Bull is back on LBC 7-10pm Easter Sunday then every Sunday after that :T:T:T

Second lastly my Ts is reducing stuff in the motoring section, mostly winter related like de-icer etc, the microfibre demister pads are back to 25p again :T

The April mag isn't online yet - but it should be soon at http://www.tescorealfood.com/media/docs/Real_Food_Feb_2012.pdf hopefully we'll be able to print out the coupons too

    HTH xx
I have voucher codes for free places in the Cardiff Half Marathon 2017. PM me for details :)

Just to make it clear - it's my boot sale randoms I put on ebay, I don't ebay MSE stuff or vouchers! They're all for me and my family & friends :o
