Sometimes, you cant plan on what to say. You'll be up there and it will just come to you. So please dont put yourself under any pressure by trying to think of the "right" thing to say. Whatever you say will come from the heart, and I am sure that everyone will appreciate it xx
Floflo, I completely agree with QOC. Don't panic because you don't know what to say. There is no 'right' or 'wrong' thing to say, and when you are at the lectern then I'm sure that what you feel will be expressed in the words you say. Your Mum will be proud and happy that you will be speaking from your heart...xxBorn to glitch0 -

I also find the best place to keep these children is in the stash cupboard, as shown on the picture.
lol i might try that :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
only problem is my stash cupoboard is the either the garage (bit creepy in there) or the spare bedroom which at the moment is so full of T's stuff you can't get the door open:eek::eek::eek:No Ts for 3 days for me, mum had hospital appointment this morning and going to be referred for review of pain relief at local hospice, consultant thinks the tiredness and confusion could be because of current mix and maybe patches will be better, not sure your take on that Celebrate. Also going to do another CT scan in next couple of weeks to see if anymore radiotherapy can be given as pain now lower than where radiated before. Blood tests done too so full service being given.
fentanyl patches should be much more effective and hopefully have less confusion but it is still possible, main thing is to get her comfortable with least amount of side effects, hope things settle for her xGRATITUDE WHEN GIVEN, PATIENCE WHEN DENIED

Celebrate, baby lotion is a skincare product and as they will only get discarded anyway upon the swap, I'm sure they won't bat an eyelid!

Catch you all later, popping off for now and still have catching up to do so may not get time to post before tomorrow, hope not missed anything.
Hi Tinyshoes, I'm no doc so won't be as much help as celebrate, but I've had fentanyl patches before. (I'm actually wondering if there's a drug out there that I haven't had the honour of trying!! I'm only 29, frightening really!!)
I found patches gave absolutely no side effects and were quite good for pain relief. Also (if memory serves correctly) they last for 3 days each so it's one less thing to remember if she's taking a lot of medication. I still altered doses of mine too by cutting them in half etc if I felt I needed less. Really hope they help your mum. Fingers crossed for her. x
76Rosie Thanks for the heads up about the chemist from me too! Hayfever really gets me down and I wouldn't survive the summer without my trusted cetirizine and nasal sprays! You've saved me a fortune!!:T
Happy birthday QoC!
Hope everyone else is wellGwrys yn Kernow! :j0
