    Hi guys

Have to read back but have a quick question about the 5 off 40. I have not used them before. do you have to take in your full receipt to use them or nothing but the 5 off 40 ticket.

are there any complications using them with JTD

5 off 40 this week again for anyone who did not know. :D Same at ASDA

You just need the £5 off £40, not the original receipt. Not had any issues using them with JTD

Thank you that is good news. :D

Do they let you use more than one at once or does that depend on the shop assistant

I'm not a huge expert - am sure someone else will confirm but I've only ever used one. I have, however, been able to use the £5 off £40 till spit and another £7 off £70 (mum & dad were sent and knew they wouldn't use) within the same shop...............

I just got back and it doesnt work..... :(:(:(
    it says on the receipt

    Steak knives £23.99
    TCC Knife 0.01
    Steak knives £23.99
    TCC knife 0.01
    Cooks knife £16.99
    TCC knife 0.01

    Knife offer -£34.02
    knife offer -£12.01

    Total savings -£46.03

    total to pay £18.97

so it wouldnt accept the £5 off..... I did try but the computer says "no"

    So thats that.......
You dont get a chance... they scan a barcode sheet when scanning the knives, so you dont get to the full price of the knives at all.... Its comes up discount..
Every knife the scan they have to scan this barcode sheet straight after..
I tried a manned till and a SS till....

Last week when I had the £9 off £60 spend - the girl at checkout was happily scanning the barcode sheet - when I explained that I had a conditional spend she reversed the discount so I could use the conditional spend - it does make a mockery of making people collect the coupons if they are happy to just scan them than take the discount off anyway - I guess it is a case of choose your SA wisely

QPRanger was behind me with her trolley so I did a funny bum wiggle dance in celebration of the goodies ahead, not realising behind her was a big T's man who shouted out very loudly "Love the dancing":o:o:o:o

I am of course the sensible one :rotfl:
