Hi purdita,
I was thinking today when I saw that picture that I'd seen it before and it was either on here, or on HUKD; definitely one or the other.
Can't find it though.
Are you thinking, find the pic, find his son, find him?
Won't find his dad though. He probably doesn't know his father; mind you, his mother probably doesn't know who his father is either.0 -

Argh, don't call it that! They'll think you mean HUKD not FB
So what did you spend it on?
:rotfl:I thought that was the 'dark' side?!
I spent it on printer inks that may very well happen to be the 'wrong' ones!!!
What a lovely post about your dear Mum's funeral and the letter you wrote for her. That really touched me and what a personal and special thing to do for her.
Also to everyone else who's shared memories of funerals for their loved ones on here today, Mrs Jagger, Nikki and Rose to name a few (sorry I'm terrible at remembering everyone:o) hugs to you all and what lovely little stories and memories for you to treasure. You're all very brave :A
And FloFlo :A As I've said before I can't even imagine how you're feeling, the torment you're going through. It must be entirely unendurable and I sincerely hope that you are blessed with the courage and determination to get through these coming days. You're such a strong lady, your Mum would have been so proud :A
And to kymie :A I'm sure your friend is incredibly grateful to have a friend like you, a shoulder to cry on and someone to help pull her through. What a devastating turn of events for their family to have numerous deaths in such quick succession:(:(:(
My cousin died this week. She was in her 50's. Yesterday, my stepdaughter's mother-in-law died. She was in her 50's too. It makes you realise that you have to grab every opportunity you have in life but also not let silly squabbles with family/friends become too big so that they become insurmountable. Make sure you take the time to tell the people in your life that you love them and do something nice for them so that they smile. Let's all try to make the best of today. x
Issyc I'm so sorry to hear of the losses in your family also :A
I don't want to cause any ill feeling but I just want to say, as much as it pains me to admit it, after years of trying to prove otherwise, that sometimes it's just not possible to heal wounds when the battle is only being fought on one side. I sincerely hope that in the vast majority of families, family members would fight for others, would value eachother's happiness and love eachother dearly enough to put the effort in to build/maintain relationships but of course this isn't the case with everyone and it certainly isn't the case with mine. My only reason for pointing this out is that it's important that people know when you've done your absolute best, when you've given everything you've got and it's still not working, there's no shame in admitting defeat and walking away. A relationship is only ever going to be healthy if its 50/50 and there are many people, myself being one of them many moons ago that will live half a life, shouldering the blame and never ever feeling loved because they are always overlooked.
A little bit deep I know, but I just wanted to say something. I really hope I haven't upset anyone and just to clarify if the above is misconstrued...to me family, be that biological or otherwise (friends etc) are our reason for living.'There are people who have money and people who are rich' :heart2: Coco Chanel0 -
