I'm not going to Google it to check because it will turn me off anything with flour in it but I think that a lot of flour is already "infected" with flour mites when we buy it. They must hatch after a while or something. Let's not even think about it...

Why do bedrooms get sooooooo dusty!

Where does it all come from?! I have just dusted up top of wardrobes, light bulbs, under the bed, etc! Where does it come from and why is it always grey? Answers on a postcard please...

So pleased now that the last bedroom is painted again. Ceiling and walls. Now is the big sort out that always follows. My charity shop must love me at the minute!

Gonna have to stick the dinner on too in a mo as I've been so busy, we have been having quickie meals. Think I'll rustle up a quick sausage casserole n dumplings a la wrights. What's everyone else having?

Got told years back that if dust is light grey in colour its clean dust if its dark grey its dirty old dust :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::DDunno why its always grey :rotfl:

I would have kept them for 1p

Picked mine up this morning, good deal or what :j

someone asked about mr s...i had a £4 spend to use... so bought
    10 chicken subs x £19.90
a loose bunch of grapes £0.98

    total £20.88

    minus £4 coupon =£16.88
    used 5 coupons 5 x £1.99 = £9.95
    total £6.93

got a brand match coupon for £9.90
to cut a long story short, yes you can buy 10 subs and grapes or something over 10p... effectively it works out for 2 subs at 1p

does anyone know how much time it is 'safe' to keep them in advance, roughly?

I would say both as most of the mix is flour.

If you put a dried bay leaf in with your flour, it's supposed to stop weevil infestations.

First one to SSM can keep that tip!! :rotfl:

I always check before I use flour but I've never found any. If I was you, I would just buy the bread mixes as I go along and not stash them. If you've already got a stash, distribute them to your friends and family.
