Just got back from Ts - thanks to the MIL for babysitting !

We got DTD on a panasonic home phone, we were paid £6 to take it. Perfect timing too as my sisters home phone is packing up so that'll be handy for her.

I got a few more of the cheap toys for the present cupboard. Thomas Megablock sets for £2 each the electonic monopoly for £6 (think it was around the £30 mark at christmas). Couple of bakugan things for £1 each and another dr who sonic screwdriver. Couldnt leave it there on its own looking lonely

Got some whoopsied flowers, nice big finest bunches down to £1. I've just stuck them in the kitchen sink with water atm, will have to sort them in the morning

    Hows everyones evening been? :)

well..the thing is, she was rather rude to me. I dont expect them to be polite, but there is no need to be rude.

also, she tore my two coupons up before shoving them back at me, and i think that is completely out of order.

and best of all, when i asked the SA to void the two bread while i check with HO, she told me not to waste my time and HOs time, as what i am doing is fraudulent, illegal, etc. she ended by saying that what i am doing is no different from shoplifting. i managed to smile at her and explained to her the meaning of the words fraudulent, illegal, fraud, and shoplifting.

i was really peeved off by her attitude,..so i shall call and complain about her tomorrow.

the customer is not always right

I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it. :)

I think if that were me, I would be calling HO, but at the checkout, after reminding her what the words means, would ask her if she is so much of an expert on these subjects why she wasn't a barrister, solicitor or even a PC instead of being sat behind a checkout. Make her feel like carp after calling you a criminal.

(And before you start, I've sat behind a till, my FIL was a Store Manager for a supermarket for 30 years, and know that it is a hard job, but nothing wrong with returning the put down)

in the mind yes. i am 42 and i wouldnt wear the dress even if i had the figure.its for younger ladies. leenie wants honest answers, not just "yes thats great". honesty will be more helpful.

I am being honest & age is just a number its all in the mind. What age would you recommend to wear that dress?

    Afternoon one and all.

Finally got a response from the manufacturer of the cat scratching post which nearly killed my poor little kitten. Fob off letter saying cats should be supervised when playing with toys as it states on their packaging.... I was in the same room reading a story to DD2! They sent a £10 cheque which I'll give to the cats protection league as I don't want their money.
Went shopping in T's and they're still selling them!:mad::mad::mad:

I would definately contact Tersco H.O. about it & explain what happened & suggest that they stop selling them & maybe contact the RSPCA & Cats Pro etc, they may even sell them in their shops they do sell new stuff.
