    back from tesco..no whoopsies :(

i bought 2 dishmatic washing up scourers with liquid refill SEL £1.04 RTC, went through at £1.40, but didnt notice until i got home...oh well.

tried to use 4 bread coupons, but was refused twice, at 2 different stores! :@ :@

the coupon wouldnt scan so the SAs were suspicious. At the first store, the SA souldnt allow me to use it on the ciabatta mixes, as its only 75p, whereas the coupon is for 80p off. Called supervisor and supervisor told me no, and mumbled something about fake duplicate coupons!!!!

at the second store, the coupon still wouldnt scan and the SA called the checkout supervisor over, and i was told that the barcodes are the same and that i have duplicated the coupons illegally !!!!!!!!!!!! i was also warned not to try this again. seriously,...!!!!!!? she proceeded to tell me about fake coupons circulating for conditioners and washing up stuff...bla bla bla, with at least 5 other people waiting to be served behind me. and i only had 1 ciabatta and one mixed grain bread mix!

i got home just after HO closed, and I shall be on the phone with them the first thing tomorrow morning.

    or just calm down
    forget about it
    win some lose some
next glitch just around the corner
Back to square one, no apg, no comment.

To those doing SSM, when you are flicking through other peoples tips to thumb and comment on, why are there duplicate tips? They seem to be duplicated as they often have the same comments!

There seems no logic to the times either. If I look now, its showing tips from 8 hours ago, then 1 hour ago, then a week ago!!

How thick are these people, of course the barcode is gonna be the same on the same coupons, just like it is on each ciabatta bread mix

But I can match/beat that! Once when I was still living in our family home (with my two brothers and no parents), we all had a fireworks party and an indoor BBQ (it being November), invited about 6 friends and I was busy doing burgers under the grill and chips in the deep fryer. My eldest brother made a remark about how long stuff was taking to cook and hadn’t we better do the fireworks before it rained, so I agreed, switched the grill off and put the chips in the microwave to keep warm on low.

15 minutes later I came back to find I had actually put the chips on HIGH, the whole room was filled with thick black smoke (and it was a HUGE kitchen, so really took some filling), my lungs and eyes have never burned so much in my life, I took the – now black – chips out and put a teatowel over them as I was so scared they were going to burst into flames. Everyone else followed in about 5 minutes and made me explain what I’d done. Oops. Well at least I didn’t put wet matches in a microwave to dry them out like my dad once did.:eek::eek:

    pmsl :rotfl::rotfl:

years ago when me and my cousin house-shared, his girlfriend had stayed over and made toast in the morning....now she likes her toast really well done, so turned the toaster on full whack.....i woke up to the smoke smell (we turned the smoke alarm off ages ago as it interfered with our cooking :rotfl:)....

the toast had got that hot and burned, it caught fire....the flames went up the curtain, across the pelmet and down the other curtain....melted part of the UPVC windowsill, melted the plastic on the toaster and the popcorn maker stood next t:rotfl:o it, and the plastic pot drainer on the sink :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

she was mortified and spent the whole day trying to clean black smoke out of my cousins limed oak kitchen!!!!

Amazingly, they are still together! :)
hoping for a very MSE Ts glitching 2012!
