    Totally off topic I know, but has anyone had the goody bag that Matalan give away on opening day? Just wondering if it is worth the struggle to get there at 8 am!

    When you say the crusha didnt work, do you mean the voucher beeped? or did it say condition not met? Which ones did you buy and how many?
    Bought = 6
    Which ones = mixture
    Didn't work = condition not met.
    I made a mistake once, believeing people on the internet were my virtual friends. It won't be a mistake that I make again!
  • Morning All,

    Had a mini adventure in a new Tesco Extra near where I work.
    Managed to find

    2 x Clapping hands Dolls - £9.50 each
    Stunt Chaser - £9.50
    Various coats , baby gro's (for a friend), some butter and yoghurts
    total = £60.84

    Then 14 of the Sun Sport jumped into my trolley so overcharged by £52.50:o

    Lady advised I need to come back during normal hours for DTD refund (is this normal) I only work 2 days a week and is 50 miles from where I live so won't be able to go back until next Tuesday.
    I did keep the SEL which had £1.24 was that the right thing to do?

    After my £105.00 DTD it would of all cost me £21.65:)

    Very pleased with myself:T
    Now on the 5:2 diet.

    Lost 25 1/2 lbs :j:j:j 33 1/2 lbs to go

    Sounds like it could be the element Snap, same thing happened to mine day before xmas eve, a local tradesman replaced in in 15 mins for £45. Fan and light were still working, just no heat. Hope you get sorted xx

    Can I ask a question? Do you ever feel like none of your friends are bothered if they see you or not? I've been trying to arrange meet-ups with several friends since just after xmas but they're always too busy, now I accept they have busy lives, but it's nearly April !!!!!!, are they trying to tell me something? I feel like no longer even trying, I feel so unwanted :( I'm sorry, I know it's not a real problem like others are facing but it's really starting to get me down. Thank god for you lot, I wouldn't have anyone to talk to otherwise (except the one friend I do see on a regular basis) :cool:
    ♥ Know how you feel. hundreds of 'friends' on FB but no one to really see. My BFF has moved to Bideford :( & I so miss her. We can go weeks without communication but still have 'a link' She had a liver transplant last year that saved her life & she's now got an OH & a literally a new life :)

    Ahhh Thanks:o

    You are right, sure it's called that, it's marble,granite and sparkly bits and I've got it on the bathroom floor too. Top tip, best thing to get it sparkling is the eco multipurpose cleaner from T's, don't bother with all the granite cleaners;)Thats why I bought loads when it was 31p a bottle:TAnd the floor is best cleaned just with water and a micro cloth, It's fab for rolling pastry and stuff on because its so smooth and always cool:)
    you roll pastry out on the bathroom floor? :eek::eek::eek::eek:
