A good way to spend £40 to redeem your £5 off vouchers that you will soon have. Remember to redeem it first before you had over your price flops. £21 is more than half your required 'spend'0 -

Some really nice reviews on that camera coming up on Google. :T
Been looking for a new (not point and click) camera. I suppose it would be dumb to ask if you recommend it.
Actually, better idea. What are its negatives? in your opinion.
Well I still havnt grown to love it yet. For the first week all I wanted to do was take it back!!
Its hard work but is now beginning to yield some nice results.
Depends on what you want from the camera and how you see your skill levels. I seem to have a good eye for pics but my technical knowledge isn't that great so its tought going. On the other hand I loved my panasonic FZ38.....you saw plenty of pics from that too.
Flash doesnt seem to have a lot of power but I'm thinking thats down to my settings. The robins from 5 to 6 feet were woefully underexposed.
Zoom barrel is stiff and notchy when new....it does however free up with some use. I sat one evening watching tele just zooming it in and out for half an hour. Its nice and smooth now.
Shooting directly into the sun causes lots of lens flare. My panasonic was superb at shooting into the sun.
Bottom line is I am learning and learning fast....this camera forces you to learn but as you can see it does give rewards. If you prefer something more forgiving, look at the panasonic FZ38.0 -

yesterday was one heck of a day...
To begin with I thought I was going to be exploded into thin air with the gas leak... My OH strawled in about 6.50 :eek::eek::eek:
After he disconnected the gas bottle I went to cook some supper... While eating, my tooth chipped!!!!!!:mad::mad::mad:
My DD came home from Uni with a shed load of work to do on the computer and the internet wouldnt connect!!!!!!!!!!! I couldnt believe it.....
Neither of my DD's or OH are very technically minded, so I spent most of last night up in the freezing attic trying to sort the wireless router out!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but to no avail..
Soooooooooooooooooo...... Ive spent all morning on the phone to a woman from Bombay... she was lovely... but couldnt help the problem... sooooooo 1hr and 30 mins later (at 5p per minute) she suggested I try putting the simcard in my dongle and connect like that.... So this is how Im here now....
ANYWAY..... I phoned the firm who set it all up for me (Ive only had it since May last year).. only to be told that help over the phone would cost me £25!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ok.... 45 minutes later, still frozen up in the attic, he told me that the router has packed up!!!!!! WOT??????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So Im waiting for the gas man to sort out the gas leak today and Im waiting for the firm to come and set up a new wireless router for me tomorrow...
I wish HC was around, the router is still under guarantee, but I'll probably be charged for the call out and setting it all up again... If HC was around he could advise me what's the best thing to do...
I feel like going to pick up the router and setting it up myself... well with HC's help.....
I did thank Celebrate for asking about me last night, so you could see that I was alive and kicking.. I can check the forum on my phone but I cant respond..........
Sooooooooooo you see, thats the story of my life!!!!!!!
