We regularly donate to sue rider, and often have a nose around. Never really anything good normally.
One day I picked up a burtons, suit that looked brand new for £20.
I struggle to find the right sizes in shops, so totally amazed I could find something like this for so cheap.0 -

Total spends this week in the charity shops......£8.50. (Way more than I usually spend in a week!:o)
Anyhoo...pleased with my finds.....:)
I got a pure silk, floaty georgette skirt in watery green shades, calf length with a pointy hem for £4.50. Then in the same hospice chazza shop I found a dress in rusty red shades in a heavy jersey fabric…..a bit of a ‘body con’ style so will have to search out the Spanx! Price £3.
On Tuesday I found a, (to me), wonderful £1 purchase. I came across a pair of dark brown, straight-legged, ladies trousers. I have often wished to find some trousers in a jeans type of fabric, with a side zip rather than having all the bulk of a front zip in order to give the effect of a flatter tummy, and without pockets, once again to give a smoother line, and fitting into the normal waistline so no 'muffin-top'. Well, there they were….M & S must have been selling my ideal trousers at some time! Even better——they fit perfectly. Price £1 and good as new. I seem to have acquired rather a lot of new clothes this week as I also went to the M & S Clearance Store and bought a new dress and a top there too. Prices were excellent but it's not half as much fun buying new as it is finding bargains in the charity shops0 -
Talking of pure silk, I went out yesterday without a scarf (I know, a bit rash for the last day of May!) to find the wind was quite chilly. There's only a couple of c/shops open on Sundays but the BHF came up trumps with a gorgeous 100% pure silk long scarf which appeared to never have been worn, for £2.99. Bonus is that the colours went perfectly with my coat and the fleecy top I had on.
I did wonder why it was so cheap as they could have got more for it, but some shops seem to have a set price for each item, so all scarves are £2.99 regardless of condition. The Sunday staff were two young lads so I don't suppose they would know any different, although according to the tag it had been put out the day before - luckily well hidden and it took a bit of a rummage to find it!I haven't bogged off yet, and I ain't no babe
