A couple of finds in Droitwich on Monday:

*Next cream fine knit jumper with a beautiful orange/yellow/pink floral back £3.95. It's a great item for the season changing, not too heavy, but still warm enough for spring.

*Next In The Night Garden polo top for DS £1.50

*Next Fire Engine print jeans £1.49

And then yesterday in Kidderminster a pair of floral print Topshop cigarette trousers. I'd seen them in the window a few times and decided to try them on first as they were £5 and they fit like a glove :)

I got a Dooney & Bourke, beautiful tan coloured suede slouch/hobo style bag. I love their bags (American), the quality is great and I love the hardware on them. Anyway, slight wear and tear, e.g. where it has been put down on the floor but it would be like that within a couple of weeks even if it was brand new. Inside it there was a D&B coin purse which I looked up on Ebay and an identical one sold for $40 in America. I paid £10 for the bag and coin purse. So happy!!

Hi everyone, I've really been enjoying reading through this thread. I usually don't find much in charity shops, but over the last couple of weeks I've had

    For my daughter...

    Ted Baker top: £1.99
    Next bodywarmer: £1.99
Blue Zoo (debenhams brand) dress: £1.50
    Next floral top: £1.50

    And for me...

Monsoon top (immaculate, looked like it had never been worn): £2.99

I will be having another browse around the charity shops again some time this week :)

I went down town recently to buy some potatoes, got an evening dress with matching bag for £18- how did that happen? I'd seen the dress in a posh shop years ago, can't remember how much it was but it was around £150 ish? It's been worn to two separate formal 'do's', bargain! Everyone says how lovely it is and I tell everyone how much it cost!
  • I have avoided the charity shops for a couple of months as I've recently moved house, but this month have had a gorgeous blanket box from YMCA furniture shop for £25, full length Scottish wool kilt £1.99, green leather Jocasi handbag £1, Gringo tie dye bag £1, and pretty glass starburst design pendant for 99p.

Hi all, just found this site and enjoying the read.
Love bargains, bought a lagenlook brown coarse linen jacket for £2.50 last week, brand new! Have also had 3 x Oska t-shirts,also BNWT for £3 each, lovely quality material.
At the moment I am wearing a wool ,size 12 St Michael s swing coat,I have now had it several years ( and I am a few sizes up from a 12 but it is a lovely fit:)) for £5.
I often find remnants of material and tapestry pictures which I upcycle into cushion covers or shopping bags. Also retrend odd bits of jewelry and beads, great for charity/craft stalls.
I must not buy books, the house has extra insulation from all the paper!!

Bought a lovely Mantaray tunic dress in grey, peach & pale blue that will look great with leggings or even on its own as a beach cover-up. £3.29 from BHF.

Fat Face thick sweatshirt in washed-out pink and white stripes, will be great with jeggings and short, flat boots. Also £3.29 from BHF.

Going by the 'care' labels, neither have been worn/washed much if at all.

    I love both these brands.

Yesterday I found a moss green, real silk/satin, sun top from the Next Signature range. Longish with gathered sides and a flippy hem. Looks brand new and was £2.75 :)

Today I found a pair of dark denim, boyfriend style jeans by Blue Star(?). Again, look new and were only 50p. I think someone put them back on the wrong rail but they insisted I must only pay the 50p even tho I offered more..... :)
  • Yesterday I got a pair of Footglove sandals with a slight wedge heel for £3,50 in black patent. Will be fab for work. Also got a purple Kipling bag for £4! Looks New as well. Very happy.
I have every possession I want. I have a lot of friends who have a lot more possessions. But in some cases I feel the possessions possess them, rather than the other way round

Yesterday, only one CS, but a good one! I got a fine wool Monsoon sleeveless dress in a check, mainly dark blue and beige, to be worn as a pinafore for work, plus a pair of Caprice shoes which look brand new and match it beautifully! (Especially good since I wear a size 36 so finding any shoes in a CS is difficult!) Plus a brand new multi-purpose grater, still in its box, and 2 DVDs - the French Lieutenant's Woman and a bit of nostalgia - the complete first series of the Secret Army (a 1970s series about the Resistance and the escape line for British airmen, If that sounds familiar, yes, it was the inspiration for Allo Allo...!) All that for £13.00!
