Went away to Buxton for the weekend (in the snow!) and picked up a large soft tan leather Clarks handbag for £3.50 in the Age UK shop.
I am sure they had incorrectly priced it as there were non leather bags there for £4.99!!
Wondered up to the actual Clarks shoe shop and was looking at bags that were about the same size in same colour and they were priced at £70 to £80!
Very pleased, everything is it it now, all clean & tidy!:j0 -
Got a 100% cashmere jacket for £4! Needs dry cleaning and a new button but still a bargain. Also a 100% wool Pierre Cardin suit (seems nearly new) for £15.
And a Pyrex snowflake tray/dish for my girlfriend's collection - only £1. :-)0 -

I got the jumper, dress and Miss Selfridge top from the shelter shop in Alton, they are currently selling eveything for £2
The book and handbag were from the one opp the Co-Op in Alton, Cancer Research I think, at £1 each. They were selling everything for £1 on Sat.
Oh thanks very much. That's not far so I might just take a little trip. I enjoy looking in CSs is other areas when I have the chance.0 -
From my local hospice shop today I bought a Boden blue and grey silk top with 3/4 length sleeves for £4.00. I'm going out for a meal with OH on Saturday night so will wear it then.
Also bought a black short sleeved top with black jewels around the neck. It was £4.00 again, and is a Phase Eight. It's perfect for work-although it does say that it's hand wash only which is a bit of a nuisance. I think its because of the "jewels" - they are only plastic, so I might risk a cool wash in the machine.0 -

A ladies grey Superdry t-shirt for £1.45. It is a little bit bobbled but it will be perfect for the gym. It's not in really poor condition so I think they could have commanded a little more for it. It was from my favourite charity shop- Sense. They had loads of lovely stuff in- have had some really nice stuff from there- I had a Pineapple Dance t-shirt that I wear for the gym from there, and one of my favourite hoodies, a winter white Fat Face one for £3.75 that has been worn to absolute death and along with my blue Hollister polo was one of my best bargains*The RK and FF fan club* #Family*Don’t Be Bitter- Glitter!* #LotsOfLove ‘Darling you’re my blood, you have my heartbeat’ Dad 20.02.200
