  • Another not-a-bargain but a great result for the shop: I sold a pair of speciality hiking boots on ebay on behalf of my local- they would have sold for £10 maximum in store; ended up with £28 after paypal, fees and postage :D:D
They call me Dr Worm... I'm interested in things; I'm not a real doctor but I am a real worm.
  • Ooh, ooh, and for me I got a pair of M&S autograph tweed trews for 99p, a wonderful 1970s leatherette trenchcoat for 99p and the most utterly, fabulously bonkers 70s dress for (wait for it) £7.50.
The latter is truly a sight to behold, mind, in its shades of black, brown and cream! I need to work out how to shorten it appropriately as it's made for a giraffe but I can't wait to wear it once I've done it :j

Frith: Did we pass each other in Kidderminster today .. was there a lovely Per Una purple/white top in Oxfam for £2.99?
If not - I got there before you!!!! I just hope you're not the same size as me (16 .. or is that my age ... nah ... definitely a 16).

I wish the charity shops in my area where as cheap as most of yours seem to be! I bought some almost new lined cotton curtains for my bedroom yesterday but they cost me £8.

I usually buy my books from CS for about 50p for paperbacks but the Scope one I went in yesterday the paperbacks were £1.25 each, I did buy one by one of my favourite authors but didn't check it before buying and when I got home saw it was actually in German!!!! Will teach me to check in future - still £1.25 extra to charity.

Hobson's Choice - I only went to Mind and BHF yesterday. Today I went to the new Kemp before school pick up but didn't get anything.

However... I did go into Worcester this morning and bought a crochet top to wear over my dress for my sister's wedding next week!

:DI'm in Worcester tomorrow Frith ... don't beat me to the shops!
I still think the "old" smaller Kemp shop in Kidderminster (Oxford Street, still open) is better than the new one. Forest Dog Rescue next door to this is good too.
Why am I telling you this?!!:D

No finds for me today but we really went to the charity shops for my brother. He needed to finish off his wedding outfit.

He got: Shirt £3 (I think) and golf club (99p!) from Red Cross in Stourport.

Then tie (couple of £2) and some lovely Next cufflinks from Sue Ryder in Bewdley!
