Why would you care? You live in Bangkok shanty town.

I own a cottage in Kent England.

My house in Bangkok is hardly in a shanty town.
    It's 3 bedroom detached for god's sake.

Do you live in the equivalent back in UK?

    No?

Mums spare room or bedsit maybe? :)

I will say since my use of the ignore button, this forum has been a much nicer place, interestingly those I ignored soon stopped posting (if you don't know you can see when people on your ignore list post, you just don't see the post).

The short is if some jealous troll wishes to follow me around and sling insults then I take that as a compliment, my life is going so well its actually made somebody jealous.

The great comfort for me is the good things in my life are real and are happening if a troll believes me or not and thanks to the ignore button they can waste their time without wasting mine.
Have my first business premises (+4th business) 01/11/2017
Quit day job to run 3 businesses 08/02/2017
    Started third business 25/06/2016
    Son born 13/09/2015
    Started a second business 03/08/2013
Officially the owner of my own business since 13/01/2012
  • Yes I have to admit my ignore list is rapidly increasing at the moment.

I've had this ever since DervProf found out I had a larger home and income than he does. He pretends that he's merely trying to prevent peopel posting personal financial info on here, but he never pops up when other people do it. I've even taken to pointing out when other people mention their finances and asking where DervProf is with his remonstration - he never posts. :(

It's a shame for some people to live their lives hating others just because they feel that inferior.

My own view is that if you are happy being single and childless, still working in the same job and living in the same property for the last 20 years until you die a lonely death, found 2 months later by council workers alerted to the smell, and over abundance of rats and cats, then that's great!

The differences between people's goal, lives and ambitions are what makes life and this forum interesting.

At 40k a pop an investor could clean up renting these places to DSS.

A rightmove link would put this to bed once and for all.

Plenty of investors could clean up around here if they managed to get a decent tenant, they could also lose out if they get a bad tenant.

Lots of bad tenants around here, the BTL bubble has definitely burst here.

A 6 block of new build apartments is sat empty and are being sold off by the landlord, already had the auction and nobody bought any of them, i think theres another auction the first week in april for 6 3 bed semis on the next estate to mine, all of them owned by the same landlord (well i say owned but you know what i mean).

I'm not sure whether they are one and the same or not. They certainly are run by a person/people who run lots of names though.

No I'm not on here as much at the moment. Will it pass? Dunno.
Am certainly very busy at work so that has some effect!

But mainly bored with the sockies and even bored of the same repetitive arguments from some of the regulars. A few people seem hung up on gloom and I'd rather leave 'em to it.

Highlights include chewy's, joe's and a few others one liners. :D

Renovation man NEEDS me to be a sock puppet.

Hes got me down as a mental southerner who works in IT, when i am in fact a mental northerner who works on building sites.

    Of course you are.
Loads of builders regularly log in during the afternoon for a couple of hours. Not just today. Been happening a while.

I suppose you're still on-site on your phone? After all, I remember you commenting how the pressure was off whilst on-site and you could just swan around not doing much.

No, it's simple. It's you who needs us to think you are "Jimmy the builder" but your hackneyed and cliched character creations are like they're from a book written 30 years ago. (Which is perhaps the time you were a builder in the north?)
