You'll always get repos in poor areas, repos happened during the boom. There are always some who fail to pay or cannot pay, that's the nature of life.

If a house in that area has been up for 14 years and is now on sale for 50p and is still for sale at 50p it must be a right dump is all I can say and no self-respecting human would want to live anywhere near there! so your example is silly. It's not reflective of the UK as a whole, not by a long shot. So many silly comments from those that wished for a crash or hoped for one as they are renters. Ridiculous!

This is the town centre im talking about, it looks pretty much the same as every other town centre ive been to.

Plenty of people were falling over themselves to buy the flats during the boom, they are still the same flats in the same town centre.

The only thing that has changed is the price, oh and you get some red and white tape on your taps thrown in for free now.

You seem very intrested in the housing market for somebody who hasnt really got an intrest in the housing market.

Isn’t the selling process different in Scotland?

Yes, its hellish, buying and selling, I'm English so find it all a right royal pain in the !!! I dislike you have to pay for surveys before you can even put in an offer! we ended up paying out a fortune for surveys on houses we didn't even end up putting offers on. Then their is 'sealed bids' etc ... a nightmare! I found it so anyway, a lot harder than doing it all in England.

I've only taken such an interest since paying my mortgage off. Probably because I am no longer watching interest rates or what the banks are doing so much, as it doesn't effect me so much. Plus I like the various characters on this board, its entertaining and its also educating me on all this. I like to learn :D
  • Well thats the type of board this is becoming, and it is why I will not be using it as often, too many nutters.

For example someone from here who uses a profile photo of a poster to then physically try and trace that member, and then when he thinks he has found him also puts the address of that person on an internet site to which he never gave his permission.

    Now thats disturbing.

    No.

I am telling the truth though.

    Honest.

At 40k a pop an investor could clean up renting these places to DSS.

A rightmove link would put this to bed once and for all.

You used a photo of me to try and find out where I lived, you admitted on here, end of.

Keep up your name calling, like an internet troll warrior you are a right little tough guy.

You posted personal information about me on this board after looking searching for me with only a photo(you said so on here), lets just leave it there for now

Let's not leave it there, because your insatiable appetite for lying through your teeth and talking crap suggests we can't.

For the 10th time. See if you can grasp this.

I posted a link to a rugby website. It took me 2 seconds to use google images to find it after someone asked what the picture was.

It could be worse, I could try asking the police and my friends to "track your IP address".

No joeskeppi, you are the liar, I am just not choosing not to get emotive on this board like you.
    What am I lying about?

I am saying you used a photo of me(thats all you had), and then you used that photo by whatever means to try and trace me(searching me out online or physically walking on my street is no different).... FACT

You then found somewhere where you thought I might be, you then put that address on a bulletin board against my wishes... FACT

After you put an address where you thought I might be, another poster then(now armed with an address) threatened to make a phone call to that same place.... FACT

You actually think there is nothing wrong in what you did, at the very least how sad are you to try and search someone out like me only armed with a photo, what sort of person has enough time on their hands or even the inclination to do such a thing.

You have a great habit of putting posters down and insulting people on this board with your cocky little one liners, but who is sad enough to have such a grudge that they must go and research someone and find any little bit of tittle tattle about their private life armed with only a photo and a bitter attitude.

It's quite interesting on the board at the moment, with this particular puppetmaster seemingly having some sort of mental breakdown. He is doing the same with his jimmy31 username and that one that uses the word 'dude' a lot. It's quite sad because all of these usernames were originally created as obvious parody's and were, in a small way, quite amusing. The puppetmaster is now trying desperately to convince us that they are real people, but is being undermined by his original parody. It does make me wonder if he is suffering from some sort of multiple personality disorder and when he switches between logons online, he switches between personalities in his head.

As an aside, you're not on here much anymore JB, it's a shame because your posts are always good value.

I'm not sure whether they are one and the same or not. They certainly are run by a person/people who run lots of names though.

No I'm not on here as much at the moment. Will it pass? Dunno.
Am certainly very busy at work so that has some effect!

But mainly bored with the sockies and even bored of the same repetitive arguments from some of the regulars. A few people seem hung up on gloom and I'd rather leave 'em to it.

Highlights include chewy's, joe's and a few others one liners. :D
