I don't know the name of MSE's type of forum/message board, ailey but there are other sites that use different versions of it (avforums and bit-tech to name two) - sometimes, depending on whether you told your browser to remember your details, it'll still post what you wrote if you were logged out and had to log back in again.

I know that Firefox gives you an automatic "remember details" prompt for forums, IE and Opera must have something similar so click that and it'll leave you logged in for a lot longer.

Thanks so much for that JamesK10. I will certainly try that today. I don't use Firefox but one of my sons keeps telling me it's far better than Internet Explorer but I'm used to the layout with IE and lots of things seem to be different with Firefox. Maybe just a case of getting used to it though. Hope it works and thanks again. :beer:

I wasn't going to continue collecting the vouchers (as per a few of my previous posts on Sat/Sun as I thought once I reached 2000 I would claim another Pizza Express voucher and then call it a day because it has become too expensive and the cost of the papers is now more expensive than buying some of the items in the shops. At the moment I have banked 1500 points on Saturday and thought I could just use the Saturday voucher code (we buy Mon-Sat) to reach 2000 but some kind person explained that I wouldn't reach my target by then with Saturday only so I will need to still buy some Sunday papers to do this. My husband had on his jacket yesterday when I came through as he was heading out for the paper but I said I was going to stop so we didn't buy it. We'll go back to getting it again next week until I reach 2000 and see what happens then.

I never ask for voucher codes but just wondered this week if anyone could pm me a Sunday one. I would be most grateful for this. Many thanks.

I use Google Chrome on my laptop 95% of the time and have never configured anything within the browser to keep me logged in.

My desktop preference is IE and has been from IE6 to the current IE8 that loaded, and again it just bog standard set up.

All I've ever done is tick the box "Keep me logged in" next to where you enter your UserID and Password on the MSE website

Thanks quoia, I checked that and could only find 'Remember me' next to my log in boxes so I've ticked that. Maybe that will work. MSE site is such a busy site with so so much on it to read that, can you believe it, I've never even noticed that lol! Hopefully that will work. I checked Internet Explorer and couldn't find anywhere I could tick to remember me etc. Thanks again and fingers crossed as it's so annoying having to keep signing in.

Whoopee doo! I've stayed signed in lol! After almost 4 years of using MSE, I can't believe that I don't need to sign in so many times a day if I wish to comment on the forums. Thanks so much to you both. Ticking 'Remember me' next to my log in seems to have worked. Silly me!! :T
