It's in an email, check your junk mail?
2 of my friends got theirs at 16:01 on the 10th
but I have not got my E-gift voucher yet.
told them i did not have it.
    they said check spam folder.
told them I would not have contacted them if I had not already done that.
they asked me for a contact number and said they would look in to it and let me know

If you were collecting under the old scheme. I'd ring and tell them you want you PE voucher because you have entered enough codes now.

I don't think that would work lol. If I remember correctly they converted the old way and gave a little bit extra for these points. I might be wrong but I think they did that.

I wondered how long you could save them for and just reread the information on mailrewards.co.uk and is as follows:

We'll automatically bank your Mail Points every time you reach 1,500 over a maximum eight-week period. Then it's your choice whether you spend them immediately - or save them.If you choose to save them, simply carry on entering Unique Numbers from Saturday's Daily Mail and The Mail on Sunday.
When you've collected another 1,500 Mail Points we'll automatically bank them again.
If the value of the Reward your order is less than the number of Mail Points you have banked, the balance remains in your account to be spent later.
Only Mail Points that have been banked can be exchanged for Mail Rewards.
Once Mail Points are banked, they don't expire for TWO YEARS.

I might keep collecting then if I can manage to get 1500 in the 8 week period. I'll see how it goes. I must have a look at the rewards and how many points again to see what I could save for.

I don't like asking for codes so always go out for the paper (except today) as I thought I might just give it up. I agree that lots of people always ask without heading out to try to get the Mail on Sunday. Possibly depends on how far away their shops are and whether they drive or not. We don't but we do have a shop nearby so that helps.

Oops - started this reply ages ago so will possibly be more replies. Just as well I copied the information before I tried to send it as I had been logged out again!! I find it so annoying how many times in a day that I have to log into MSE. Does anyone else find this happens to them? Most other sites you can stay logged in. I pop in and out of the site at various times of the day but have to log in so often. I do wish it wouldn't log us off. Must be a good reason for it I suppose. :)

ailey the banked points are now valid for 2 years. Non-banked points have an 8 week life. But you can only use points than have been banked, so if you need another 500 points for your voucher you'll still have to collect the 1500 again, as 1500 is the only level you can bank at :(

I did mean in my first post that to reach the 1500 points in 8 weeks just buying papers on a Sat or Sun wouldn't work :) As unbanked points expire after 8 weeks, can only use banked points to buy rewards etc.

As for the changes in the scheme, we already buy the Mail at the weekend anyway, so being able to miss 4 out of 16 codes is a big improvement on having to get 7 out of 8. I'm very happy with the changes.

On a side note the website will not let me log-in to enter todays number, is telling me details are not correct, well I entered my Sat number yesterday with same details lol!

Oh that's right, KxMx! I hadn't quite worked out that I'd need to get another 1500 banked before I could use the 2000 to get another Pizza Express voucher. I think they've had a very shrewd (or Philadelphia) lawyer to draw up this scheme. Not the easiest to work out lol!

Once I read your post about the Sat only or the Sun only codes I worked it out and understood what you explained. Thanks for that.

Did you send them a message via their 'Contact us' part of the website to explain that it would not let you enter your details? I've contacted then 3-4 times and they always put a message back on for you, possibly not the very next day but keep looking. Thanks for your help with this. I'll maybe keep saving then but will need to go back to getting the Sunday paper or I'll not manage the quota in the timeframe. :)

It MUST be something you are doing, or the way your PC is set up (a piece of security software maybe) since I haven't had to log in to MSE on either my laptop or desktop for well OVER 2 MONTHS.

I find I HAVE to do it about 3 or 4 times A YEAR :D

  • being able to bank when you get to 1500 pionts to save for bigger rewards is not bad. but the fact that you can only use banked points is a bad thing. take for example the the 2 course pizza express meal that was 7 papers before, it is now 2000 points so you have to get 3000 points before you can claim it. so now to get the reward I started saving for before the switchover I need to buy 19 papers, anyone who started saving after the switchover will need to buy 24 papers.

Banked my first 1500 points today, and got a bonus 10 points as a "percent top-up" from the Mail.

All the papers in local shop had been stripped of magazines but Mum was going into town so she got a complete one there.

Okay scratch that last part, Mum had trouble with it today so she changed the password ;)

And we now have another 15 bonus points, so 25 in total, nice.

This appears to be a TEN PERCENT BONUS of the codes entered this weekend

The 10 points appear AFTER you enter Saturday's 100 point code

The 15 points appear AFTER you enter Sunday's 150 point code

Really? I wonder what I'm doing? Or how my pc is set up? Need to call in my son again lol! What would I do without my son? My security package is Bit Defender. Oh that would be just great having to log in 3 or 4 times a year. Lucky you! I must see if I can find out some more. I thought it was just the way MSE worked. If you hadn't gone into anything in a few minutes, it just logged you out. Good to know there is a way round this if I can find out how. Cheers for that. :)

    With regards to the £5 pizza express egift voucher for this week, does anyone know if;
    a) it can be used in conjunction with the tastecard?
    b) more than one voucher can be used at one table?
    c) it can be used in conjunction with the 2 course free Pizza Express mail rewards vouchers? ie, can you use it for drinks?

I had a look at the t&cs and didn't see anything indicating otherwise but wondered if anyone knew or worked there and had insider knowledge lol

We don't have the tastecard, but yes the e-voucher can be used in conjunction with the 2-course voucher as well as the £5 PE cards and yes you can use more than 1 per table, we had two. Did all of that last night :D. Had a meal out for 4 people and paid £10 cash, £5 of which was the tip!

Another snag with buying MOS if you get M on Mon, you will find they've just printed the same storeys you've read on Sun.
