Thanks KxMx. With the 1500 points I have banked, I only have to save the next 5 Saturdays to reach 2000 and that gives me one 2-course meal and will be completed just in time to submit before the Wednesday cut-off of 25 April when banked points have to be used. Does it then automatically get entered onto the cards they sent out? I had forgotten about that until someone just listed information about it - thanks for that JOJO22.
You're right about just saving the Saturday codes or the Sunday codes as there are 12 days to be entered before reaching the next target when starting from scratch. For example, 8 Saturdays and 5 Sundays for ourselves would cost £7.50 as we buy the Mon-Sat papers already and that would give 1550 points. It costs you 1500 points for a Debenhams, Tesco etc £5 voucher and this has cost you £7.50 so why would you bother to go out specially to buy the Sunday paper if it is not worth it. It's all right if you already do buy the Sunday but we always had a day off papers before this offer.
To get an M&S £10 voucher it costs you 2800 points. I better not work out any more as I need to go to serve our meal lol.
If you were collecting under the old scheme. I'd ring and tell them you want you PE voucher because you have entered enough codes now.0 -

Or you could just buy the Saturday paper and then ask on here every week for a Sunday code - seems to work for other people!!!!0 -
Banked my first 1500 points today, and got a bonus 10 points as a "percent top-up" from the Mail.
All the papers in local shop had been stripped of magazines but Mum was going into town so she got a complete one there.
I banked mine today and got a 10 point and a 15 point top-up52% tight0 -

No the way to do it is ask for Saturday AND Sunday codes;) You were poorly, shop sold out, on holiday, grandma visited and wouldn't let you out, the cat was sick etc or in some cases don't even bother with an excuse just ask every week for both:cool:Be thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)

Has anyone else not got a Pizza Express voucher?
I am still waiting for a Morrisons voucher from Feb 19th0 -
ailey the banked points are now valid for 2 years. Non-banked points have an 8 week life. But you can only use points than have been banked, so if you need another 500 points for your voucher you'll still have to collect the 1500 again, as 1500 is the only level you can bank at
I did mean in my first post that to reach the 1500 points in 8 weeks just buying papers on a Sat or Sun wouldn't workAs unbanked points expire after 8 weeks, can only use banked points to buy rewards etc.
As for the changes in the scheme, we already buy the Mail at the weekend anyway, so being able to miss 4 out of 16 codes is a big improvement on having to get 7 out of 8. I'm very happy with the changes.
On a side note the website will not let me log-in to enter todays number, is telling me details are not correct, well I entered my Sat number yesterday with same details lol!0 -

Okay scratch that last part, Mum had trouble with it today so she changed the password
And we now have another 15 bonus points, so 25 in total, nice.0 -
What do others think about the changed version of the Daily Mail promotion? I've been collecting since it started last year (with a little break in between and then started buying The Mail on Sunday again). So far we've had 3 Pizza Express 2-course meals. The bill came to over £50 and we paid less than £10 for the 3 drinks so we were delighted with the £40 saving. We buy the Daily Mail Monday to Saturday so only had the extra expense of 3 Mail on Sundays at £1.50 each so the 3 meals only cost us £4.50 each 2-course meal. Fabulous deal! We go through to Edinburgh to see our son about 4 times per year and take him out for meals. We have a good meal in a nice restaurant and then the other 1 or 2 days we have less expensive meals as the 2-3 days overall can cost quite a bit, between train fares, hotel and meals so good to be able to reduce it a bit and spin out the money. I now work out that we need to spend £12 on Mail on Sunday papers 8 x £1.50 (counting the Saturday Daily Mail at 8 x 80p = £6.40 it would add up to £18.40 in total) and this would be for a 2-course meal - pizzas range from £8 and starters/desserts cost £4.50 so if I have to spend £12 I'm only gaining 50p and for anyone buying the Sat and Sunday papers they lost £6.40. Am I working this out right? If so, the Daily Mail have killed this good promotion. Even the price for DVDs are more expensive than what you could buy them for. I've got another 3 Pizza Express meals vouchers saved for our next trip in April so that's good. I reached 1500 points today but decided not to buy the Sunday paper. Maybe just add the Saturday numbers and see what I can choose in rewards as must be redeemed some time in April. I don't know after that if saving just the Saturday voucher would get to enough in the designated timeframe - still to work that out. What do others think about the changes to what was a good promotion?
just made it to 1500 points today by entering the codes from 6th and 7th papers. in the old system I could colect a gold award of pizza express 2 course meal but now it is 2000 points while many of the former gold awards are only 1500 points.
for the money vouchers you have to spend about 3 times the value of the voucher on papers so not worth it but good if you buy the paper anyway.
they said that no one would lose out with the switchover so have sent them a message and hope that they will give me the voucher for my 1500 points then I will stop buying the paper as the rewards will cost too much! if they dont give it to me for my 1500 point I will buy 5 100 point papers for £4.50 then stop.0
