I posted a SAR letter requesting copy's of agreements etc... which they received and signed for on the 10/04/12.
Can someone tell me does the 40 days to respond include weekends? or is it working days only? Thank you in advance0 -
Hi All,
I am new to the forum and to PPI claims - but after reading this and with all the advice I am about to embark on a First Plus war....our PPI was £16500 in February 2005, so although we have had our "cashback" I believe now that we have a case to have the loan reset....
I will report back with any news!!0 -
A big thank you to Amersall used the template that you have posted on a few of the forums sent off to central capital who were the broker for First plus and today recieved a letter to say they are upholding my complaint in full!! They have listened to the sales tape and admitted that I did not receive enough information to make an informed choice. Not sure how much I will get back yet but I am delighted!:j
Thanks to everyone on these forums it was made so easy :rotfl:DMP started 1st July 2012

If the loan is still running, make sure they take the whole PPI amount back off the loan and give you all the PPI payments that you have made to the loan so far and the 8%.
If the loan is finished :T:T:T:T:T:j:j:j the money is all yours :cool:0 -

hi,
i would just like to thank Amersall for the draft letter on the previous page,,and everyone else for their information..it was just what i was looking fora friend of mine has just claimed back about £9k from their ppi which has prompted me to look into mine !
my first plus 10yr loan is due to pay out the ppi cashback at the end of september totaling £5779.00..hopefully now i will also be able to claim the interest paid £2514.70 and the 8% on top....happy days
will post back here when i have an update..
cheers...0 -
You are welcome.
Just to let you know, you won't get the 5 year payout now as you are saying you were mis sold the PPI and this will be cancelled.
The good news is the whole PPI amount will be taken off the balance of the loan and the monthly payment will go down by the PPI monthly amount, you will get all the PPI monthly payments that you have made to date back with the interest and the 8%, this is worth more to you as the PPI is off the loan and this will save you thousands in interest over the remaining 5 years.0
