Morning all

Yuck at this weather, we didn't get into baby group I forgot to book n it was fully booked. So went shops get few bits in the rain lol

Went into the chemist to ask about my eye 1 has gone a bit fully on the lid part n got told its an infection n needs antibodicts so got an emergency doc appt later hate getting meds as it cost so much now days but need them as don't want it to get worst or to pass it onto LO

My photo shoot info came in post today had to sign for it poor postman was soaked. Came with 2 teddys for LO so he'd happy with that lol

Lots of luck to all for last week of April shocking it's nearly May. Yet again where is the yr going lol

Hi all, not sure if this is the right place, but I was wondering if anyone had subscribed to the main comps board for email notifications, and if they had stopped receiving the regular daily updates?

I was using this as a handy daily reminder of all the comps posted and updated from the day before but it suddenly seems to have stopped? Any ideas how to get it started again?

Sorry Calvin no idea about that.

Been a beautiful morning here Jane - infact we had a 5 mile walk in the sun! Hope Lo wasn't too upset at not getting to his club. Hope your eye gets better soon.
Called into Tesco on way home and bought some chicken and a few other things only to realise I had been charged £6 instead of £3 for the chicken. Had to wait ages while they filled in advice on refund but got double back so free dinner tonight.
Enjoy the rest of today.

Afternoon everyone, it's just started pouring here and turned really cold, I've just put the heating on for a while. Got the house to myself for the rest of day, OH won't be home until gone 10 tonight No excuse not to get ahead with the comps, but I just don't seem to have the enthusiasm at the moment for some reason, in spite of some really nice wins this month.

That's good of them to give you a double refund Sheils! A new tesco has just opened not far from us so looking forward to going when the ATM machine is good to me!

Hope your eye is better soon Jane. I hate having sore eyes as I wear contacts so don't like being without them.

Sue, I think the cold weather puts you on a downer too. I'm feeling the same lately. I've had no wins for a while and I'm sick of getting knocked back with jobs! (I need a good pick me up!)

Hope you get some good news soon wingo! I'm trying to cheer myself up by thinking about the break DS2 gave us that he won at his work - 7 weeks to go! Have bought myself 2 new pairs of trousers, 3 T-shirts and a swimsuit so all set.

Its the 11th June - my mother is reluctantly watching kids though DD will be at school and DS should be working by then. 4 nights on our own!

Hey guys, it's not often I post here (mostly because I'm rarely able to find a comp someone hasn't already posted), but I try to contribute as best I can and I'm eternally grateful for all the work others put into this forum.

I was hoping people might be able to help me spread the word about my fund raising efforts? If you have a couple of minutes spare, please read my post on the Charity forum here.

Any help you can give in raising awareness of this across Facebook, Twitter etc would be massively appreciated! Alternatively, if anyone has any suggestions on fundraising, I'm all ears! :beer:
