How long has RM been in financial trouble, and how long have they been unsustainably subsidised for? They should have been reformed years ago, but instead the lumbering dinosaur of a service was allowed to continue and now the reality has finally hit home.

The only saving grace is that the majority of ebay sellers will be in the same situation on small items, a few will abosrb the cost initially, many will just race to the bottom, and as professional sellers, we should let them.

The marketplace is changing. Stand still, and you get left behind - and RM have got a lot of catching up to.

Some small packet prices are increasing drastically by getting rid of the 3 lowest bands so "up to 750g" is the cheapest although that band is reducing in price obviously compensated for by the greater volume they will now get at that price. Compensation is staying at £46. Extended compensation for Standard Parcels is being done away with so anything over £46 will have to go SD.

Likewise, except that it will cost our customers more - we only pay the cost if it sells.

Commercial suicide,RM has gone from a public service to a 2nd rate shadow of its self.Only thing worse than the service is the staff,s morale.
I have a deep burning indifference
