Royal mail prices 2012 ?

I cannot find a full PDF or breakdown of the new 2012 stamp prices yet, does anyone have a link?

I can find snippets but I think it is useful to post up here a direct link where people can print out all the new prices. Anyone starting 30 day BINs now for instance might have to consider the April 2012 increases. Likewise there is a free listing weekend this week and although listing at 10 days still keeps you within the current stamp prices, late payers may well take you into April and th enew prices and selelrs migh tneed to consider this for bulky or weighty items going Royal Mail.

Once we have a full PDF we can add it to the sticky postage thread so people can print it out and adjust their postage costs accordingly.

Its always worth remembering to stock up on 1st and 2nd and large letter stamps before the increase as well. All these can be ordered online from Royal Mail and if you spend more than £50 special next day delivery is included for free.

Prices wont be available until the 27th march, and the increases come into effect on the 30th April.

    Hope this helps. :)

This has reminded me that I want to stock up on stamps - are Superdrug / WHS still doing 5% off?

Our local PO told me today that 1st class will cost 66p. Whether that is true or not I have no idea.
One important thing to remember is that when you get to the end of this sentence, you'll realise it's just my sig.

Sounds about right. The business prices have already been announced and are roughly almost a 50% increase (after taking into account VAT will now be charged on everything) so it wouldn't surprise me if retail prices increases are similar.

Yes they both have stamps on offer. Not sure what range they offer. I have got 1st, 2nd and LL 1st from Superdrug and LL 1st and 2nd class from WHS in the last few days.

Is this correct? Business prices are increasing from April 2nd.

I have to say I am very confused now hence my starting this thread. I am getting letters twice a week now from Royal Mail about business post- which I don't actually use and they just keep referring to the uplift in general postage costs for the private user.

All I know is it is going up quite a fair whack :( so as I have a long delivery time for some of my stock I need to know what the exact changes will be as it may be that I will stop selling certain lines due to the postage increase and the small loss in TRS discounts

Royal Mail have announced the rates for Business users; I don't think it has much relevance to 1st & 2nd class stamps etc but still might be interesting to some...

    http://www.royalmail.com/sites/default/files/RM_Contract_Prices_April_2012.pdf

On the RM website it also says "Our contract prices will change from Monday 2 April 2012 (subject to our regulator’s final decision)."

So maybe the non business changes will happen then also.

I can't see any difference in price between 2011 and 2012. Am I missing something?

One of the things I've noticed is that they have removed the 0-100g, 101-250g, 251-500g, 501-750g bands and replaced them with a single 0-750g band on the packet sort, which I know a lot of small companys use. (see p8-9 of the PDF).

So 750g will now cost the same as just 100g... thats seriously not fair on those who rely on that service.
