Not till the equinox, or at least St Patrick's day!
Yesterday gave me a quarter of an O, but at least the plumber came. Today was 4.6 Os, but I deserve a wooden spoon for yesterday.

The silver spoons have finally turned up, so I now have to choose the most suitable one for the best performance of the year (in Os, naturally).

We only have four seasons so they ought to last three months each.

According to the BBC weather forecaster this morning, the Met office regard spring as starting today.

Just as Midsummers Day is very close to the Summer Solstice, then we ought to call Xmas Day "Midwinter Day" and the Equinoxes would become MidSpring Day & Mid Autumn Day respectively.

But of course (as ever) our weather patterns completely ignore any official dates folk attempt to impose upon them !

Not bad at all down 'ere mostly sun forecast (so will probably rain :D). Does that mean that I may be competitive for a change? Generating 200W at 7.30am, scratch that 400W at 7.31am.

I was listening to Radio 2 Jeremy Vine show on 3/12/14, and he was having a right fit about it still being called the Autumn statement when we were in winter. He repeated his complaint about 5 times. I was waiting throughout the piece for somebody to tap him on the shoulder or scribble a quick note and say "Psst Jezza, it is still the Autumn!".
