Us newer types aren't on that sort of rate. I managed just marginally over £100 for the month.3.924kWp (12X327Wp SunPower). SolarEdge SE3500 inverter.
Surrey/SE. 30 degree roof pitch, chimney shading from mid afternoon.0 -
Looks pretty sensational to me, I can only dream of getting £300 in one month (which I realise you won't as you will be on a lower FiT rate).
Yes, that sort of figure would be lovely, but it's all comparable to initial outlay I suppose. Still, over £100 per month now and again will do for me;)4kw (16X250w Sharp). Samil Solar River 3680 TL inverter.

As we are metered we are paying much less than our neighbours.
Your English/Welsh neighbours!.......
My next door neighbours!!! There are only 5 properties that are metered in our road out of 36. Ours was metered well before we moved in, this was chosen by our previous owners. The other properties on meters had them installed when they became the new owners of their properties.
It is a bit like our electric bill for us where we never waste any and try to keep the cost down as much as possible. Having a water meter allows us to do the same for water use. Another huge saving for us was to install a wood burning cooker. Also a multi fuel stove which heats our hot water and heats 10 radiators. So after 3 years of installing all of this we have no gas bills at all, low electric bills and very low water bills.
Absolutely well worth the effort!!!

July results:
System: M1 ESE 3.58kWp
Total generation: 485kWh (2013 502kWh)
Os (generation per kWp): 135.47kWh
System: M2 WNW 2.0kWp
Total generation: 253.3kWh (2013 272.6kWh)
Os (generation per kWp): 126.65kWh
Notes:
Overall 738kWh & 125% of target (2013 775kWh & 131%).
Incredible July, but fraction short of June, and lower than last year's 'insane' July.
Import lowest month yet, at 71kWh.
Annual total prediction 106%.
MartMart. Cardiff. 8.72 kWp PV systems (2.12 SSW 4.6 ESE & 2.0 WNW). 20kWh battery storage. Two A2A units for cleaner heating. Two BEV's for cleaner driving.
