 Just need to have a little rant about E-On

When we first had our system installed, they were great - I chose them because they were, by a country mile, the most helpful of all the companies I'd contacted. The first few FIT payments came through very promptly (within a few days) and I had no complaints.

    But.
In February I sent them my reading by email, as usual and they managed to pay me the wrong amount, based on some completely random figure they'd concocted. To be fair, once I pointed this out (although I did need to walk them through the calculations with words of only one syllable) they corrected it within a few days.
Then when I sent my quarterly reading in May I got an email back saying that they are implementing a new, automated, system for sending meter readings and that the payment would take a bit longer than usual - 45 days. I wasn't too bothered because they have previously said it may take up to 30 days and it's always arrived much more quickly than that.
But I waited, and waited, and waited and 45 days came, and went. Eventually, yesterday, I rang them to find out what was going on and was told they were running about 3 weeks behind. So another 3 weeks :(, on top of the 7 weeks they've already had?

Of course, I wasn't very happy. I politely expressed my opinion that if it was an enery bill they were expecting me to pay they wouldn't wait 10 weeks for payment! The young man I spoke to said he agreed with me but he was unable to do anything more and promised me a call back from a manager.... which, of course, never came (although I wasn't holding my breath)

I shall ring them again today.

Only had one day in the last week that hasn't notched up double figures, but performance hasn't been anything to shout about except for last Tuesday's 23.2kWh. We need an average of 14kWh/day over next 5 days to hit PVGIS target (currently we're about 3% below on pro-rata basis), and today isn't looking great.

It's nearly time to submit our quarterly reading to EDF, our payout should be around £650 since the last reading submitted in mid-March

I think it's more annoying because they were so prompt paying the first few..... within a couple of weeks IIRC.
Didn't get a chance to ring today as was held up leaving work. Still no call back (unsurprisingly:()
Will try to ring again tomorrow.
Did you get the '45 days' email when you sent your reading?

Yes I did, in fact I got the 45 day one from the first reading in February, 'due to the rush etc etc'. The next one I send will include "Terms of Payment" net 30 days; thereafter interest at 3% per day.:rotfl: :money:

Reading today 7.8kWh. Got my Desktop Monitor working again today. Reading from it showed 3.3kWh at 07:00 this morning. Reading from Gen meter was 0.2kWh for the same time since shutdown last night.:rotfl:I wonder which is right .

    14.3 kWh today

Daily ave 'target' for next 4 days has just increased to 27 kWh/day ! Weather forecasts make that extremely unlikely - but they've been wrong before . . . .

    Hi

Probably, but I am bit worried, my figures seem quite less then others, my generation has quite few drops, not sure if its the weather or installation of my system. Since I had my system installed nearly 3 weeks ago we have not had a proper sunny day yet.
